I had bought 6 boxes of lens from lenskart. I haven't used it for a long time, due to working from home. However, recently I started using it and I find it very uncomfortable, the lens is very blurred and eyes start watering. So i visited the Lenskart, Kasavanahalli branch on 5th April 2022, from where i bought the lens. They checked my eye power and said it is the same in the lens box and they simply asked me to wash the lens in hot water and use it, without addressing the actual issue.
I have been using contact lens for 10 years now and never faced such issue. In fact I have been buying lens from lenskart for quite a few years and never raised an issue till date. As a customer, I needed their support because of the issue am facing. So I asked to them check if the lens quality is fine, else requested to exchange it. They refused to do it, saying I have bought it in 2020. I did mention the quality or power of the lens should not degrade as long as it is well within the expiry date and the purchase date should not matter, if the lens is supposed to work fine until the expiry date guaranteed by them. Yet, they simply refused to do anything about it and asked me to buy new lens. I was upset with this kind of response from lenkart, because they do not take ownership of their own products. Look forward to getting the exchange of the lens, as the quality is not good. Was this information helpful? |
