I being regular customer from past 3-4 years for sunglasses/computer zero power blue cut for me & my family members. Last year because of covid and continues work from home for long hrs, when I too had eye check-up, Dr suggested to use multifocal lenses as long hrs exposure to screen. So now I also started for first time power lenses. I bought power lense + blue cut glass & frames worth Rs 5600 for that I bought gold membership separately.
I was not feeling comfortable and went to store, there Lenskart staff suggested to try using continues way few more days. Again I went there as I could not concentrate on work while using computer screen. Later they tested eye in their system and replaced one specs with power as per their testing.
But I was facing same problem again, and same story happed again store staff suggested to use few more days and I kept running store to find solution. Then on recommendation I visited eye specialist for check up again. To my surprise Dr told that Lenskart give me power higher power that I needed and on top of that Dr told there was ignorance also while marking. With prescription in hand 3 days back when I went to store and handed over specs and finally told I cannot co-operate further with them and I need solution. Yesterday I got call from store that the warranty on power glass was for 1 month and now nothing cant be done.
My point is if it was the case why this was not communicated about that. Again because of non skilled staff why customer have to face. it is very clear that the testing criteria is not accurate as it is just a shop to sell the products. With non skilled staff they even could not plot correct markings. Actually I never expected from company like lens kart such bad experience specially where it involve misleading to customers.
LENSKART SHOULD CONSIDER THEY ARE NOT SELLING PRODUCTS like CLOTHS OR SHOOES. Was this information helpful? |
