Lenskart — Wrong Eye Prescription

I have had an eye checkup from Lens kart at home. I got my new pair of glasses, I had eye pain and burning sensation in the eye. So, I spoke with the Lenskart person who visited me. He said that it was common.to have eyes pain. yesterday I had my eyes checked up and the prescription which lenskart person gave was way different. If I would have continued using the glasses. I would have lost my eyes. When I called them the answer you should have told us with in 14 days. Totally irresponsible people. Playing with peoples eyes. I will seek legal opinion . So, that no other customer should suffer like me. Wrong diagnosis for a medical equipment is not an option.

My Order Number is [protected]. Yesterday your representative visited me and he confused me more on how he calculated and I was more confused, I dont know what to do. please find attached my prescription from my Hospital. As, per the Hospital prescription the Right eye power is 2.5 and Left eye is 2.5 and as per lenskart prescription it is Right Eye power is 1.5 and Left Eye is 1.75. now I am confused what to do.

Updated by Seshikanth Anumolu Nothing happened after even raising a complaint. I have gone with Titan Eye Plus invested another 20K and got a fresh glasses. These are working well. So, In short I would not recommend Lenskart . If you need glasses go to a better store and get your eyes checked up and get the glasses. Do not just go with the excitement that there will be a 2 pairs of Glasses . Use your judgement.

I faced similar issue. I got eye tested from Lenskart store and they said my power has decreased to -1.25 from -2.5. I ordered new glasses with power they gave and I could not see clearly after that. I had to buy another pair after getting eyes tested from the doctor.

Not sure why they perform eye tests when their machines are faulty and their technicians are not trained.
