Subject: Complaint Under the Consumer Protection Act Against Livpure for Deficiency in Service and Unfair Trade Practices
I am filing this complaint under the Consumer Protection Act against Livpure for deficiency in service and unfair trade practices.
I have a Livpure RO filter installed at my home. It had a filtering issue last time, and I lodged a service complaint with ID number [protected] on 16th March 2025. However, it was not responded to, even after repeatedly calling customer care, the escalation department, and the area manager. The technician finally visited on 31st March 2025.
Again, on 4th April 2025, the filter stopped working. I lodged a new complaint on 5th April 2025 with ID [protected], but just like the previous instance, there has been no response to date.
Whenever I call customer care, they repeat the same response — that someone will attend to the complaint within 48 hours — but it never happens. They provided an area manager’s number, but he/she never answers the call. The customer care team is unwilling to connect me to a senior executive or the escalation department, and they only assure me that someone will call back. However, like always, no one calls.
This has caused a lot of harassment to me, and yet the company seems least bothered. The company representatives speak in the same monotonous tone and even cut the call midway, which is unnecessarily rude and uncalled for.
I have written multiple emails to their official email ID ([protected]@livpuresmart.com), yet there has been no resolution, and my grievances remain unaddressed. This situation has left me feeling helpless and harassed, as even a simple issue like RO service has not been resolved despite all my efforts and time invested.
Due to the company's negligence and lack of accountability, I have suffered mental harassment, financial loss, inconvenience, and above all, my family is at serious health risk due to the consumption o[censored]nfiltered and unsafe water.
I have attached herewith the relevant messages and communications, including dates and details received from the company.
I respectfully request the Hon’ble Court to direct the company to respond to my service request without further delay and to award suitable compensation for the mental agony, harassment, and health risks caused to me and my family.
