Livpure — Not refunding security amount even after machine has successfully returned

I will write all the background of my issue clearly for your better understanding. And I expect to have a clear and final solution to this issue.

1. I have registered for Livpure rental RO service on 16th Dec 2023 and paid Rs 1848.
1500 security + 348 Rs for monthly subscription charges.

2. I have asked to subscribe annually as it would cost me less, but customer care person from livpure insisted me for monthly plan and after that I can go for annual plan.

3. Product delivered to my address on 17th dec 2023. After calling several times and sending multiple reminder emails they finally installed the RO after 60 days on 19th Feb 2024.

4. In march they increased their rental charges from 350 to 400. I have mailed them to cancel my subscription, collect their RO machine and refund security deposit amount.

5. Their was no reply from their end. So, after frequently calling customer care, they informed that security deposit is locked for 3 month and only after 3 month I can raise subscription cancel request to get refund of security deposit.

6. So on 13th of April I have again mailed them to pickup machine and refund security deposit but their was no reply from their end.

7. In month of August they suddenly started calling again and again for pickup. One of the customer care executive said that your balance amount is negative and you have to pay and hand over machine as you have been charged for keeping machine.
After 10-15 days customer care called again and said that your refund will be initiated once we receive machine.

They usually used to call in office hours. Still I managed and come home early to return the machine on Monday after having a conversation with their customer care that I will get full 1500 refund once the machine is returned.
So, on 2nd of September customer care person from livpure contacted me to pickup the machine, and it was successfully picked up but still they have not refunded the security and instead sent a legal notice for not returning their machine.

This is torturing as there are no efforts to pick the machine from their side and even if we make efforts this is what we get in return, legal notice.

Kindly complain against LIVPURE as this is harassment, cheating and unnecessary disturbing others.
