I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the poor service and unprofessional behavior I have encountered after purchasing a water purifier from LIVPURE, following their promotional activities in the media.
I bought the purifier with the intention of ensuring clean water for my daily consumption. After installation, the LIVPURE representative asked if I required an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for the equipment. As the quality of the water was crucial for my health, I opted for the AMC and made the payment accordingly.
Despite paying for the AMC, no representative has shown up for servicing even after 8 months. When I contacted customer care, they informed me that the AMC was not registered in their system. This is unreasonable, as it is not the customer’s responsibility to update their system. I provided the necessary bill to show proof of payment, but the customer care team refused to acknowledge it.
In June 2024, I relocated to Delhi, and once again, I raised the same issue during a new installation. The LIVPURE representative acknowledged the discrepancy with the AMC records, and suggested that, due to the polluted water in Delhi, I would need an additional filter and another AMC to cover the next two years. I agreed to this suggestion and made the necessary payment.
However, after this conversation, I have received no communication from LIVPURE or the representative handling my AMC. I have repeatedly called customer care, explained the situation multiple times, and each time I am either put on hold indefinitely or abruptly disconnected.
I request the following actions:
Immediate update of AMC records in their system.
Provision of the servicing promised under the AMC that I have paid for.
If LIVPURE fails to fulfill their obligations, I demand a refund of the AMC amount paid for the next two years.
This experience has been the worst nightmare I have encountered as a customer, and I hope the Consumer Cell can intervene to resolve this matter at the earliest.
Please find the necessary AMC bills attached for your reference. I look forward to your prompt assistance in resolving this issue.
