Livspace — Livspace fraud - not refuding the booking amount of 40K

I have booked interiors of my flat with Livspace based on promise made by with Livspace team. They have told us complete house interior works completion responsibility by Livspace and they will ensure that customisation part works completion will be handled by them completely. My role is only doing payment. But now, the team is turned up and informed that customisation works responsibility is not their scope. It is to be handled by us. I have to come Livspace to have end-to-end interiors and made booking payment. After taking the payment, the designer is changed and we did not get the any designs from Livspace as per our expectations. After completion of designs, quote submitted by Livspace is extremely high which is much more beyond our budget. Today I have landed into two issues: 1) who will handle the customisation works ? 2) Total interior cost is very high. Marketing team who were involved during order booking informed us the total cost modular and customisation will be approx. 15Lakhs and they have informed that we will put best effort in design to bring the cost approx. 12 Lakhs. Based on this, we have proceeded with order booking on Livspace. but, now the quote given by Lispace is 18Lakhs. Because of Livspace failure, I want to cancel the project and when I am asking for refund of booking payment of 40K, they are asking us to buy any Livspace appliances worth 1Lakh. Why should I buy appliances, I invested money based on Livpace committment and now they are failed to fulfill. I think livspace does not know execite the jobs and taking booking payment from individuals and running their business.
