[Resolved] Lodha Group — Refusal of cancellation of flat booking | |||
Dear sir/ma'am, This complaint is regarding the refusal of cancellation of 2bhk flat booked with Lodha Crown, Taloja. We had booked a flat in the month of Jan 2020 with Lodha Crown in Taloja where they have collected all our documents personally to process for loan and we paid a booking amount of 45, 000 Indian rupees. Thereafter while my process lodha has asked us to pay further installment of 232, 000 indian rupees which was also paid on time. My process was done with hdfc bank and later they informed us that I shall not be eligible for loan. Since I'm the only earning member in my family and after this pandemic hit in March 2020 my salary got reduced by 25% till March 2021. Now considering my situation I won't be able to handle this pressure of installment with Lodha and EMI with bank. I raised my request with Lodha to process for cancellation and refund the instalment atleast but they upfront rejected my appeal and their manager said we can't do cancellation even if you are not working you to buy the house. They asked us to buy 1bhk but we cannot cancel. I've escalated issue to customer care of Lodha but still no improvement and positive support. I'm really depressed and couldn't find the way out.
