I have been looking to buy an apartment in Lodha New Cuffe Parade - Wadala 400037.
I had visited their site office on 9/4/2023 and met the closing manager Divyaang. He insisted on doing a flat visit which was on tower -11 (Gardenia) 2502 - Wing A.
We liked the flat and wanted to know further details about it. He mentioned that the flat would be costing around 3.25Cr, however the channel partners were quoting 3.20 Cr which were present on the site that day. My father had created an enquiry for himself since he was also looking to buy a property in the similar vicinity, however we wanted to close the deal directly since we have been living in the society.
The closing manager insisted on visiting again for final negotiation, we had clearly told him that we will be doing the deal through referral reference from one of our relative.
The team was insisting on giving better benefits through a channel partner and has been extremely unprofessional in their deals - They never issued any paperwork, wanted to involve a broker, misquoted the apartment price several times, changed the closing manager several times.
The site is run on whims of the site head who straight away instructed her staff to not entertain us anymore, walked out of the meeting, and her words "Yeh customer mujhe site pe dikhna nahi chahiye"

On 11/04/2023 - We connected with closing manager to sit for the final negotiation which was already fixed on 9/04/2023. To our surprise the site head had decided not to meet us and kept delaying.
On 12/04/2023 - We connected again with closing manager to sit for the discussion. To our shock when we arrived for the meeting at 6:30pm, the closing manager was replaced by 3 other people. The site head - "Deepa" was extremely unfair in her dealings. She qouted a price of 3.60 Cr for apartment price which was early quoted at 3.25 Cr.
Since we did not want to involve channel partner in the entire scenario the developer sales team, simply walked of the meeting and denied to transact with us.
The behaviour was extremely unprofessional - Buying a house with your lifetimes saving should be left to dealing o[censored]nprofessional site head - Deepa in this case. This clearly depicts the unprofessional, mis-selling and unethical behaviour which is promoted by the company.
I have the recordings with me and if the complaint is not taken seriously the same shall go to RERA and social Media.
There should be a strict action which needs to be taken against employees which promote toxic culture and above all insult and humiliate the customer.
