I closed my home loan on 6th May 2022 with L&T housing loan. At the time of closure, they informed me that there is an excess amount which has been paid of Rs.17000 & they will refund it to me as soon as I get the list of documents post cheque is cleared. They asked me to provide a canceled cheque (HSBC) on which I need the refund along with the letter and the same was provided at the Koramangala branch on 23 May 2022 while collecting the documents. It's 45 days now I have been following up with the customer support team but was not getting any response. on 5th July'22, I received an update that the amount was refunded to the auto-debit account (HDFC bank) on 24th May'22. I have checked my auto debit account. I have not received any amount from them till date. Now, they are not ready to share the UTR number for the said transaction. Wasim Pasha from the loan processing department is not customer friendly & not at all approachable and argued when we approached him for loan closure.
I tried reaching out to Sanath the manager of the loan processing department at Koramangala branch he replied saying it is refunded as per the system updates & he needs to check with the head office, this was informed on 5th July'22. Not he stopped responding. Was this information helpful? |
