Mahanagar Gas — New connection delayed - not yet got the connection

I am a tenant of an apartment which has no piped gas connection though the members of the society are having the same.
I requested my landlord to apply for a gas connection, which he agreed and applied for on 6th April 2016 with all the necessary documents and payments. Initially he was informed it will take 45 days, when enquired why so much time when all the necessary infrastructure for new connection was available in the society, he was informed it as a company procedure.

After 45 days when my landlord contacted he was informed that is 90 days and not 45 days grace time for providing a new connection.

After 90 days when he contacted again he was informed it is raining and we will do asap. Till date there has been no site inspection of the property where the connection is to be installed.

May i request the necessary authorities to take up thee matter and stop the company from taking consumers for a ride. And direct the MGL authorities to stop giving lame excuses and provide efficient services to its customers and have some moral responsibilities towards the commitement they give to their new applicants.

I am trying to lodge a complaint on the MGL website but not allowing- it gets stuck to provide email id and is not opening up to provide the email id. or has no default email id updated on their system either.

There was a site visit on the 6th Oct as soon i lodged the complaint on this board. Thanks to the Consumer Complaint Board and Management for prompt action. I am now awaiting for the connection to be done at my place.

Though the site visits have been done - there has been no work yet started for the connection. The staff behaviour has been so ridiculous and non-co-operative as if they are obliging the consumer by providing a connection to them. They drop in to the house whenever they are free - they do not / never inform before coming and once or twice it has been that i have not been at home and other time they visited at an inapproriate time when my son was studying for his semester exams. but still i allowed them to do the inspection and the place where the same is to be installed- which they have not yet started the work. I would like to request you to please look into matter urgently.
