Mahanagar Gas — Security deposit refund not received

I had requested to permanently disconnect my PNG connection and I was informed by email on March 18, 2020 that permanent disconnection work is successfully completed; docket no. is 4869939.

I was told that I would receive refund of security deposit after deducting permanent disconnection charges within sixty working days. However, I have not received refund even ten months after permanent disconnection.

I talked to customer care and wrote email to support, many times. I am repeatedly told to write email stating to refund security deposit after deduction of permanent disconnection charges.

I would like to point out that I have already stated in my permanent disconnection request dated February 11, 2020, that security deposit be refunded after deduction of permanent disconnection charges. MGL doesn't process such request if customer doesn't make such statement in his request. MGL has completed disconnection work only after receiving the request with such statement made in it.

5174438 and 5255447 are two more docket numbers related to this issue.

My request for permanent disconnection with the statement required by MGL is attached for reference.

Please help me to get refund of security deposit at the earliest.
