Make My Trip — Non refund of failed transaction | |||||
I attempted to book flight tickets on 05.02.2021 through “Make My Trip”. I had tried to use my debit card to make the payment but the transaction had failed immediately after I entered the OTP. The booking was unsuccessful and the payment had also failed. But for a transaction that I attempted on 5th February, 2021, an amount of Rs.41, 806 (Rupees Forty One Thousand Eight Hundred and Six) has been debited from my account (AC No: [protected] on 11.02.2021. The transaction number for the same is RRN[protected] as given in the Passbook. It is to be noted that the payment was not re-attempted anytime after the first attempt made on 05.02.2021. I had also approached the Indian Bank Customer Grievance Redressal System to sort out the issue but it was not of much avail to me. On visiting the bank, I was informed that the above mentioned amount was credited to the beneficiary's account and I was asked to send an email to initiate the refund. Hence this email.
