MakeMyTrip.com — System error - Flight booked with Wrong date

MakeMyTrip Booking ID -NF[protected] Booking Date - Tue, 7 July 15 Travel Details – Blr-Del (17Sep.2015) & Del-Blr(20Sep.2015) When I was making this booking, I carefully checked all details & did the payment After 2 mins. I received a confirmation & I was shocked to see the return date as 20 Dec. 2015 I immediately called MMT customer support team, who told me that since the systems are getting updated I need to call them after 1 hour. I told them that there is some flaw & it is better that it gets resolved before the tickets get generated but they said nothing could be done since systems are under updation. They however transferred my calls to the airline team, which in turn again refused to help saying that only MMT can resolve this issue. Meanwhile the ticket also got generated & I again raised a concern, to which their team responded that it is an error from my end, & that I would need to pay a penalty for date change. They simply refused to consider this as a genuine grievance & informed that nothing could be done. On my asking, how worth is the penalty vs this harassment, they then re-checked & informed that penalty also won’t work since it is a non-cancellable ticket. I got absolutely same reply from Megha Saraf with a copy of log snapshot which puts me wrong. Is there anybody in their system who can help

In reference to your concern and as per our discussion, we have validated the issue with our technical team to understand if there was any site issue at the time of booking. And as per revert received from them this was not a site issue and passenger by mistake have entered wrong date of travel for return segment Delhi to Bengaluru as 20-Dec-15 instead of 20-Sep-15. Though, it is a non-refundable ticket in case of cancellation of partial segment, the best we can do from our end is to get some refund on the same of approximately 1000/- by waiving off MakeMyTrip service fee as a customer service gesture. The one way ticket cost is approximately 3000/-.Please contact us to cancel return segment after completing your onward segment for Bengaluru to Delhi. As promised, please be assured that post your completion of outbound travel on 17-Sep-15, we will proactively release the return sector from the booking and claim refund as per airline fare rules. We will be processing refund for approx. INR 1000.00 towards the original form of payment.

Have had multiple discussions with the team & faced another faulty booking within the same week. Though things like this are not in good taste, there is not much to debate about. I have still lost money from my pocket. Would appreciate if a better amount can be refunded.
Exactly the same thing has happened with me. I did not even receive a call back within 24hrs as committed to me by the customer care executive. Strange. Their logs are written in a language no one can understand, not even them.
I am very sure i booked the right dates. They are asking me to pay for the changed date. Booking ID NF[protected]. Still waiting for this issue to be resolved.
The same problem happened with me Booking ID NF[protected] Flight from Patna to Delhi, date selected was 11th August, 2019 however flight was booked for 26th September, 2019.
Issue not resolved.
I had the same issue with them, twice! So, two times that I wasted my money and had to purchase a new ticket, of course with another company. Is there something that can be done about this legally?
Two flights similar problem which were bookend on different dates and different travel periods and different travel dates, 6th dec and 7 Dec. I always cross check twice while booking flights for business travel. First leg of the journey I was in a rush and didnt have time at the airport purchased a new ticket and boarded. The date was changed to 6th Jan 2020 instead of 6th dec 2019. Furious at myself that I didnt check ticket until last minute.

Checked for my next journey scheduled for the next day only to realise even that was scheduled for 7th Jan 2020, instead 7th dec 2019 as I entered while booking. Even this was cross checked twice before booking. I had to bear the brunt of buying a new flight ticket again at an exorbitant cost.

I have booked many a flights from MMT, and always cross checked.. it sure is a glitch in the technical side of MMT. The customer care are not willing to listen. I am small minion in the consumer complaints against the company. But I am withdrawing from further booking mine or my company's tickets through this platform. Only wish there was a better way to resolve these kind of issues. And take legal actions. Even though it baffles me about how dates can change while booking on the app to date change in ticket issued.. I hope others do come forward and atleast make MMT agree to their glitches. If possible a class action law suit.
My e-ticket is confirmed by MakeMyTrip for Goair for 8th Nov 20 at 12:25 hrs for Pat-Blr (with proof)
Now they show wrong 9th Nov 9:15am in status & modified e-ticket.
I tried 4 hrs with Myra chat & mails to support but all bounced. Then mailed to the airline nodal officer. Only auto reply came (they will revert back). For preponding the flights on same day they frequently sent msg. Please help
