My MMT booking ids - IN1505B1S212618, IN1505B1S212759 My MMT complaint reference ids[protected],[protected] Amount Paid - Rs. 41, 968 Mode of Payment - Net Banking Phone no - [protected] We are a family of 4 who had booked the tour package - Amazing Ladakh with Pangong stay (8 nights/7 days) from 7th June, 2015-14th June 2015 from Delhi-Leh-Delhi, via Mrs Kamlesh Kaur, a pre-sales executive working for MMT, on 24th May. Issues faced - 1. Could not board charter plane (tickets booked by MMT) to Leh (included in the Amazing Leh with Pangong Stay package) even though had checked in early with my family (a total of 4 members). The reason was that my mother was not well and was vomiting, so we were stranded after security with her. Since T3 (the terminal from where our flight had to take off) at 5am in the morning on 7th June, a Sunday, is a silent airport, no call was made for boarding start and last boarding call, also the boarding gate was very far from the toilets. So when we realised looking at the boarding pass that boarding closes 25 mins prior to take off, me and my brother tried to contact the MMT support number present on the Trip voucher, who did not respond. Also, neither the airlines called our names for boarding, nor any MMT representative who should have been present at the airport to ensure all the people for MMT trip should board (because it was a charter flight booked by MMT), was present or responded to the numbers provided, as mentioned before, to help us out of this situation at the silent airport T3. Even after trying to call the customer support, which opens at 9am so many times, the only response we got was that we should call up on Monday when the main team works, leaving us stranded and no concern regarding our pre-paid pre-booked packages. Neither did the pre-sales staff Kamlesh Kaur call to know the reason for us not boarding the plane, neither did Swati Pasrija and Sneha Sindroja, the concerned MMT people for our booking ids, help or show concern. Finally, the tour manager in Leh asked us to book another flight (on the assurance that our trip will continue), then Jet Airways refused to adjust the missed flight to another flight because it was a charter flight ticket. So had to spend the whole day in Delhi, searching for a hotel, with my mother not well. I had to book the next day tickets from MMT for GoAir flight to Leh, amounting to Rs. 41, 968, and pay for travel to a hotel, hospital and stay for the night in Delhi. Issue faced while on Trip - 2. The escort/support vehicle deserted us while leaving from Pangong Tso (on the 6th day of 7 day itinerary), knowing my mother's situation had worsened due to low oxygen, so we had to stop at PHC Tangste for 4-5 hours before we could continue back to Leh, where all the 3 families associated with the shared (4+2) cabs, reached by 8 in the evening. I did not expect MMT to be so negligent when it came to the health and safety of the tourists. As per medical reports, her Oxygen level had gone down very drastically and immediate help of the escort vehicle was not available. 3. Earlier while making an online booking, i had called up MMT's customer support regarding an issue. Mrs. Kamaljeet Kaur talked to me and convinced me that i should go ahead with 2 booking ids for my family, but we would still get to travel in the same cab, which would have 2 more people. This was a false promise because in Leh, our Tour manager had 7 families, 2 couples and a group of 4 boys to adjust in 6 cabs. There was no way he could have appeased all, and since our booking had 2 ids, he asked us to adjust with 2 other families. This was a pathetic experience since you cannot expect 3 families to share 2 cabs, happily. This same reason made the other 2 families to halt at PHC Tangste, because 2 o[censored]s were sitting in one cab, and the parents in another. Such practise of giving a false promise while convincing a customer to book with MMT is not at all acceptable. 4. I would never ever book trips with MMT again, because of the bad experience faced not only by us but also expressed by a majority of the 36 people travelling with us. If due to bad weather a part of the trip (here Nubra Valley stay - 2 day trip) could not take place, MMT should consciously rearrange the itinerary, if there are available days (which we had with us) or else refund the amount so that we can conduct that trip ourselves. In our case, we had bad weather conditions for 1 day (3rd day of 7 day trip), on which after much pursuasion we completed activites scheduled for the last day. Now we had 4 days and 2 trips (Nubra Valley stay and Pangong lake stay) pending but neither could the tour manager rearrange the dates (giving reasonthat once a booking is made, they cannot change it), neither did MMT refund us the amount so that we could go ahead with it ourselves. This is fooling the customers and duping them of their money and for this particular reason I am not inclined to take a trip again with MMT. My MMT booking id for the GoAir flight tickets - NF[protected], booked by us to catch up with the tour on the second day (8th June) at Leh. The airline PNR/E-ticket number - EEP3CJ. I want MMT to refund the amount (Rs. 41, 968) for the extra air tickets i had to pay because of the reasons mentioned above. I had already discussed this issue on 7th June with one MMT representative, Ankita, before leaving for Leh and she had asked me to take it up later with MakeMyTrip once we returned. Also, refund of reasonable amounts out of the total tour expenses paid by us for the missed day and the harrassment by MMT team, leaving us stranded at the airport with no concern and neglecting the importance of safety during the trip. Hoping for a quick followup and a positive response from this forum.

      On 15th Jun 2015, I had a transaction but after payment it was showing transaction was not complete. I got mail from MakeMyTrip stated that I'll get my money back in 72 hours. After that I called them 6 times and wrote several letters. They asked for my bank statements two times and I have submitted also still every time they are saying that in next 72 hours I'll get my money. I dont know what kind of service they are providing. I'll never have business with them and will suggest to others also.

      In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned department and found that on 15-Jun-15 passenger has done two transactions for same booking. First transaction for Inr 2400.00 with booking id - NU[protected] amount was not captured and booking did not get confirmed. However, for other transaction amount has been received by us for a confirm booking of Inr 2400.00 with booking id - NU[protected]. Later booking was cancelled and refund of Inr 1920.00 has been initiated from our end on the same day i.e. on 15-Jun-15. We thank you for contacting us.

      But I am still not satisfied as you are saying "amount was not captured and booking did not get confirmed".
      If it is so, why didn't you tell me before. As soon as I sent you my bank details, in which it is clearly mentioned that amount has been deducted from my account, now you are saying it is not reflecting.
      How can I believe you that it is not reflecting in your account.
      As you wanted a proof so you asked me for my bank details, now what about you.
      I checked with my bank manager also, was saying the same that money has been deducted from my account so I should ask MakeMyTrip for this.

        Booking ID: NL[protected] I have booked my holiday pack for Kerala on 30 June 2015. For that I have paid 27, 192 at the same time I received the confirmation. For your reference please follow my attachment. On next day 1st July 2015 I have received only the Air ticket confirmation. For your reference please follow my attachment. As per my holiday pack I need to receive [Air ticket + Hotel + Local cab + Site seeing Voucher], but I received only the air ticket Confirmation. For that remaining confirmation still I didn’t receive, for that I called customer care 50 times in the whole week through this number: +91 [protected]. Nobody giving any proper reply- wait 24 hours, wait 4 hours, wait 15 minutes, wait our team will call u. Then keep on transferring the call to air to hotel to air to hotel. Totally they cheated me… For this holiday plan I planned everything in my personal life. But without hotel & cab confirmation I can’t start my travel keeping only with my air ticket… Without hotel confirmation & local Cab, I am not able to start my travel by using the yesterday air ticket. Who will take in charge for my air ticket money?? If Customer care is properly responded the air ticket can be cancelled or postponed…… Nothing done….. If Customer care, tells if the hotel booking is not done, I could have done newly, but everyone says wait 24 hour, wait 4 hours, until my boarding time… I have booked the holiday pack including Air ticket + Hotel + Local cab + Site seeing. Why the hotel & local cab confirmation I didn’t receive?? As you aware while booking the holiday pack hotel selecting is mandatory, only flight ticket is optional. In that case why the hotel confirmation is not done in your system. Because of non-hotel confirmation I dint start my travel.           After canceling my Sirinagar Trip (due to floods in Sirinagar) I got a refund voucher. Voucher is for future bookings on MakeMyTrip website. Now when I need to book, the voucher did not work. All my complaints and requests are ignored except the electronic complaint acknowledgement. I feel myself cheated and left with no choice except going to the legal way. Any one have similar experience, kindly contact and advice me. Complaint against MakeMyTrip.

            My booking ID is NP[protected]. I would like to complaint against make my trip for charging me triple amount & still booking was not made according to them. They are not providing me clarity on anything. I would like to get a clear answer from make my trip on the following questions. 1). As per you my booking is cancelled for Goa than, Why i am receiving SMS from AIR ASIA? 2). My payment was of Rs. 30, 392/- than why have you debited thrice of this amount i.e.Rs 91, 176/-? 3). I have not paid by PNB credit card than why your payment details shows that? 4). Why i am receiving email from you saying that I shall be refunded only the amount of Rs.15, 162/-? 5). Why are you creating so much confusion? 6). When i am going to get my full money i.e. Rs.91, 176/-? 7). You debited that much huge amount in just 2 mins from my account. Than why you are taking so many days to refund it back? I need urgent reverts on these questions. More over i need clarity on everything. I am attaching the supporting documents. i.e. screen shot of SMS received by AIR ASIA airlines.

            ON 30TH JUNE I MADE A UNSUCCESSFUL BOOKING ON MMT REFERENCE NUMBER NP[protected] total trip charge was Rs. 30392/-however 3 transactions happened on my account back to back and MMT charged me Rs. 91, 176 instead of Rs. 30, 392after complaining again and again they refunded my money back in 4 installment against refund reference numbers[protected],[protected],[protected] and[protected] Finally i received my full money back on 8th July 15But now on 11th July 15 they have debited money again from my account of Rs. 30, 392/ for a unsuccessful booking.PNB bank Transaction ID is s9155967.How dare you debit my account without asking me? And why have you debited such a huge amount? why money is being charged for the tip that is unsuccessful and cancelled?Why are you doing this kind of fraud with your customer.SHARE YOUR HIGHEST ESCALATION MATRIX & REVERT BACK IMMEDIATELY.

              No Refund for over 60 days

              I had cancelled my tickets on 04th May but the fraud MMt team processed the refund under two parts but with the same transaction id for bank so obviously only one fourth of the refund was made & afterwards I have been trying to tell this problem to their team but haven't received anything more than a standard reply template that's just forwarded without reading the message.               I had booked a flight from Goa to Nagpur vide booking ID No NF[protected] for travel on 16.08.15. However, when the ticket was booked, I got booking confirmation for 16.04.16 instead of my selected date of 16.08.15. I raised the complaint to MMT, who initially replied that I might have made mistake in booking date. After further followups, I received a reply from Ms Megha Saraf on 02.07.15 that they have checked their logs and as per the confirmation from their technical team, I have entered date as 16.08.15 and this is the final confirmation from their end. Hence, I wrote them a mail stating that since they have also accepted that my booking date is 16.08.15, I am entitled to compensation of at least the booking amount which is Rs 8, 972/-. However, I am yet to receive a reply from them. Kindly help in getting refund from MMT as I am apprehensive about refunds from them after reading so many bad reviews about them.               Now, I received reply from Makemytrip stating that they have sent earlier mail by mistake and there is typing error from their end and that they cannot honour my case.

              I feel it is an afterthought on my claim. There is a mistake from their end and they are making customer to pay for it. Pl help in getting the correct person to whom my case can be represented so that the claim amount is refunded to me.

              Travel Details – Blr-Del (17Sep.2015) & Del-Blr(20Sep.2015)
              When I was making this booking, I carefully checked all details & did the payment
              After 2 mins. I received a confirmation & I was shocked to see the return date as 20 Dec. 2015 I immediately called MMT customer support team, who told me that since the systems are getting updated I need to call them after 1 hour. I told them that there is some flaw & it is better that it gets resolved before the tickets get generated but they said nothing could be done since systems are under updation. They however transferred my calls to the airline team, which in turn again refused to help saying that only MMT can resolve this issue.

              Meanwhile the ticket also got generated & I again raised a concern, to which their team responded that it is an error from my end, & that I would need to pay a penalty for date change. They simply refused to consider this as a genuine grievance & informed that nothing could be done. On my asking, how worth is the penalty vs this harassment, they then re-checked & informed that penalty also won’t work since it is a non-cancellable ticket.

              I got absolutely same reply from Megha Saraf with a copy of log snapshot which puts me wrong.

                  Sir, I have booked a honeymoon package to manali from rest of India through makemytrip.com. and pay them Rs69478 for it. Before the trip stated there is a strike in manali. however the taxis registered out of Himachal Pradesh are going to rothang pass.The makemytrip people arranged the trip with a bus instead of a tempo traveller to the place knowing very well that the bus cant go to that place. when I asked them they told it will be arranged there if needed. we stayed there in manali on 27th and 28th for two days at manali. they haven't arranged any alternative at manali and we were brought back from there without showing rothang pass. when contacted them after a series of arguments they say they will give only Rs2000 as compensation for not showing it. I even told them that I will pay them Rs5000 from my side and asked them to complete the trip by showing rothag pass. they said it cant be done and concluded the tour. during all this time I suffered a lot. instead of having a pleasant trip I experienced a lot of turmoil. they left us some 5km away from the hotel we stayed and asked us to walk all the way.even the Rs2000 they offered when I asked when they can give they are saying we have to think and tell. we will inform you later. I am not at all convinced for that amount as it wont be enough for me to visit Rothang pass from Hyderabad now.So I feel this is breach of service and I want to complain with you. please advice me how to proceed further regarding this.                     On 18th April 2015 I tried to make flight booking through makemytrip application from mobile. While booking the booking got failed but amount got deducted.as I immediately contacted makemytrip customer service department they told me to wait for 15 working days for the refund of cancelled booking. From then onwards I've called them more than 30 times. I'm having almost all recordings of our conversation. Every time they ask time period of 7 days. This is happening from past 2½ months. As I'm an IAS aspirant I know the value of time. But they are just wasting my time unnecessarily and putting pressure on mind.I've got reference number and even i enquired with bank. Amount has not credited.I've sent my bank statement also. I didn't got any proper reply.                       I had made an International holiday booking for Hong Kong.through Make my trip. The trip was for 3 Nights Cruise and 2 Night Hotel Stay. After receiving my advance amount Make my trip changed the itinerary to 2 Night cruise and 3 night hotel stay. Since the rate in hotel compared to cruise is cheaper I asked for a refund . Make my trip agreed to give Rs 10000 as refund out of which Rs 5000 will adjusted in my trip amount and balance as Make my trip voucher. The first 5000 I got it, but the vouchers has still not come and it is almost 50 days since the trip was over. No response for my mails

                        Refer to the subject, I booked my tickets on 30th April'15 for Rs 14000. Due to some flight problems i got it cancelled on 6th June @ the time of cancellation I got confirmation that 5849 will be refunded. However received only 1900. Now i am chasing these people like anything for my refund i have sent mail to anita.[protected]@makemytrip.com. Neither i got a call from their end nor any mail on that reference. This company & there people just make fool o[censored]s & block our money. Madam Anita always stays busy she never bother to receive my calls nor responses her mails also. I just want authorities to get these types of websites & service to be banned for teaching them a lesson that this kind of torture to customers are not acceptable at all.

                          I have booked hotel for 27th July 2015 in Austria trend hotel which was showing at the time of booking that it's 100% free cancellation policy till 24th July which still can be seen on hotels site, I am sorry to add that on 29th June 2015 I have contacted six make my trip customer care people but all had just tried to manipulate my problem all are just lier and tried to cheat me now I am alerting make my trip that the hotel did not sent me any hotel voucher of booking, and their site was showing the cancellation 100% free but your voucher sent to me shows it's not refundable thirdly their phone number mentioned is not existing at all that's why I am alerting you to enquire about the existence of that hotel, I am warning you people that if I faced any problem I will sue you people.                             Dear Sir, I booked a domestic holiday trip (shimla manali chandigarh) with makemytrip @ 64000 INR with Innova 8 seater (sofa seat). I paid 12000 INR extra for Innova 8 seater (sofa seat), but Makemy trip not provided cab after finalization. I tried to call to Mr Amit Bhardwaj and Mr. Kundan who finalized this deal with me but both are so irresponsible that not picked my call, I tried many times to talk with both person. I can't understand how Makemytrip bear these type of irresponsible person in his company. My 3 hours were wasted in delhi and after my request, Traveller provided maruti dezire to complete this tour. This tour was worst tour for me. I requested from day one that I need only 8 seater (sofa seat) innova and after receiving confirmation from makemytrip I finalized this deal. I also paid 4000 INR extra to visit rohtang snow point, as per my package itinerary it was inclusive in my package but cab driver denied to go there. please provide my money back from makemytrip.                               Day 1 : delhi aiport to shimla by: surface (350 km / 9 - 10 hrs)
                              Morning, drive to shimla or simla, the capital of the state of himachal pradesh. A very popular holiday - retreat, it is well - known for its victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the mall and the ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon.                               Day 6: manali - chandigarh (250 kms / 9 - 10 hrs)

                                i made a booking for the flight from Imphal to delhi for 15th july 20 minutes ago through debit card for which the booking was unsuccessful while the amount got deducted from my account.                                   Reference ID[protected] I had booked hotel through Makemytrip.com in Nahan. They have confirmed booking with 100% advance. Makemytrip has given me wrong information as this hotel which was shown to present in Nahan is 17 km before Nahan. This has spoiled my entire vacations and we have to come back after two days. I can provide the confirmation and booking voucher given by makemytrip. I am asking Makemy trip to reimburse the entire booking amount as I feel cheated.

                                    I have booked Jet airways ticket to Bangalore-Chennai via Makemytrip.com, on travel date flight scheduled got delayed by 4 hours, hence I had cancelled the boarding pass and took a other flight, during cancellation Jet airways assured me that they going to refund 100% ticket prices and refund should be initiated through makemytrip since they were the travel agent booked the ticket. I have requested the cancellation online through makemytrip, they never took any action until repeated follow-up, after long silence they partially refunded amount saying that was only amount refunded by airline, when I contacted jet airways again they direct it go through makemytrip and makemytrip is neither ready to provide me details of refund and nor ready initiate for full refund. Please very careful with using the services of makemytrip they just sucks your money, they were one of biggest fraudster along with jet airways.                                     I didn't get any update even after 6 month of complaining. My INR 6000 is illegally deducted and its open robbery by makemytrip, absolutely no accountability, this is disgusting. Hoping for strong consumer protection law.

                                      Though communicated several times to ms Akriti Arora-makemytrip agent online for refund of 800$ since 2 months, she is not giving the refund for the hot air balloon ride in capadoccia in turkey in april 2015 which was cancelled..
