I had a booking for my father who was supposed to travel with Go Airlines on 17th Sept 16:35 from Lucknow to Delhi. However, due to his change in travel plan I extended the date of travel using makemytrip's online option to change date.
While making the new booking I chose the date 10th Oct through Indigo Airlines. As soon I paid for my ticket, my booking was appearing as 9th Oct. I am a daily user of makemytrip and have done several bookings. After raising complaint with their customer care, they told that they went through logs and I chose 9th oct for my booking and I I will have to pay penalty charges to change or cancel. I am highly disappointed since I remember checking twice my date of booking however I obviously didn't take any screenshot to prove it. Since this kind of error was not expected. But it is sad to see that makemytrip is not accepting their technical and putting the blame on the customer.
