Dear Consumer complaint Team,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against MakeMyTrip India for the undue delay in processing my refund for a canceled booking. My booking details are as follows:
Booking/Cancellation ID: NH[protected]
PNR: [protected]
Date of Booking: 30 November 2024
Date of Cancellation: 02 December 2024
Amount to be Refunded: Rs 16061/-
Despite following the cancellation procedure and multiple follow-ups with the company’s customer support team, my refund has not been processed even after more than 10 days. Each time I contact them, I am asked to wait for 48 hours without any resolution and they just say our senior team cancelled the booking and give a fake assurance of calling back in 48 hours with resolution.
This delay is causing me financial inconvenience, and the company’s lack of accountability reflects poor customer service. As per consumer protection laws, refunds should be processed within a reasonable timeframe.
I kindly request your assistance in addressing this issue and ensuring the refund is credited to my account promptly.
