I am writing to report an issue with my bus booking through MakeMyTrip on 24th November 2024, with Orange Travels for a journey from Gooty to Vijayawada. The bus broke down within 45 kilometers of departure, and no alternative arrangement was provided by Orange Travels.

The driver assured all passengers that a refund would be processed. However, despite contacting MakeMyTrip customer service the next day (25th November 2024), I have not received my refund, and it has been more than 8 days.

    On Dec 1, 2024, I made BUS reservation to travel from Aurangabad to Mumbai through SK SAHARA TRAVELS Bus. I authorized Rs. 3, 843 payment for 4 seats. My ICICI Account was charged twice for Rs. 3, 843. It is duplicate charges by Make My Trip. ICICI sent me messages below for two payments of Rs. 3, 843 each from Make My Trip. Please refund me Rs. 3, 843 duplicate charges from Make My Trip and investigate why this happened. Please ensure it doesn't happen to anyone again. Thanks.

Please call me ASAP at [protected]. I sent e-mail at [protected]@makemytrip.com on Dec 2, 2024 informing about duplicate payment and requesting refund. I called on Dec 1, 2024 at the above number, it was giving me option 9 to talk to representative from make my trip, she wasn't able to find any duplicate payment but she promised that I'll see credit next day if there is any duplicate payment, which didn't happen. Please review and resolve the matter ASAP.

        I was promised of discount of around Rs 34, 000 over email.
        They have recalled the email.
        And not reverting to emails being send.

        I’ve to fly post wedding in almost a month’s time. This is unfair and arduous.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            I booked a ticket (PNR: A4U9PW) for travel from Jeddah to Hyderabad on October 3, 2024, with payment successfully completed on September 22, 2024.
            However, when I checked the booking status on September 28, 2024, via the MakeMyTrip portal, I encountered a pop-up indicating "Unsuccessful Flight Booking." Due to this, I rebooked the same flight, resulting in a new PNR: F9HN5H, for which I successfully completed web check-in on the same day.
            Following this, I submitted a reimbursement request for the duplicate booking, with status ID[protected], through the MakeMyTrip portal on September 28, 2024. As of October 4, 2024, the refund status reflects a partial amount of ₹3, 788, along with RRN number[protected], instead of the full payment.
            I would like to emphasize that the duplicate booking was a direct result of the misleading payment status shown on your portal. I kindly request that you process the reimbursement for the duplicate ticket at your earliest convenience and ensure the full payment is refunded.
            Additionally, I have encountered issues with the payment status indicating "Unsuccessful, " even after completing the trip. This misleading information can lead to confusion, as it did in my case. I urge you to address this issue to prevent further inconvenience to customers, as it may result in significant business losses.

                I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against MakeMyTrip (MMT) for refusing to refund my booking amount despite the booking being affected by a natural disaster. I had booked a stay at the Hosteller in Almora, Uttarakhand, through MMT, but due to heavy landslides in Almora highway, all highways leading to Almora were blocked, making it impossible for me to reach the destination. It's even mentioned in all the news channels that all the highway connecting Almora is blocked on 14th September (i.e. 1 day prior to my Hostel Booking Date)..

                Despite informing MakeMyTrip of the situation and requesting a cancellation and refund, they refused to honor my request, citing the absence of travel insurance. I would like to highlight that this situation falls under force majeure, as it was caused by a natural disaster beyond my control. As a responsible travel service provider, MakeMyTrip should take such circumstances into account and issue refunds accordingly.

                Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention a similar case involving a friend of mine. They had booked a holiday package to Ukraine without travel insurance. However, due to the Russia-Ukraine war and flight cancellations, their travel agent refunded the entire amount, despite the lack of insurance. This highlights that exceptional circumstances like wars and natural disasters should be considered while processing refunds.

                I believe that MakeMyTrip's refusal to refund in this case is not only unfair but also sets a concerning precedent for how customers are treated in cases of natural disasters. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that I receive the refund for my booking.

                  Booked the ticket thro Make my trip website.Yolo bus i used to travel from dindigul to bangalore today .The bus breakdown took place at krishnagiri at 6:15 pm .We had asked by the bus staff to wait for alternate bus arangements (that too very late )which was coming from chennai but the arrangements not done as assured
                  After 1 1/2 hrs we walked 1 km and took other bus in our own source and reached bangalore
                  Time and money wasted due to the poor service and maintenance by the bus operator.Really our safety is a question mark here.Make my trip and Yolo should take the responsibility and refund the ticket amount alongwith the extra charges 106 rs total 526 rs refund should be issued to me

                    I refer to Booking ID NN2A9L3L[protected].

                    On 22 Aug, I paid Rs. 5, 17, 864 via Netbanking for return tickets between Mumbai and London. The money was immediately deducted from my account, however the booking failed a few moments later and no flight ticket or PNR was generated.

                    The failed booking has been acknowledged by MMT, and I was assured by their customer service reps that my refund had been auto-initiated and would be paid into my account in 24-48 hours. This estimate of course kept increasing, and a full week later I find myself with neither a ticket nor a refund.

                    Similar to the experiences of other MMT customers on this site, the reps keep telling me to wait for my refund, and then to wait some more. They constantly claim on email that they were trying to call me--a claim I'm beginning to doubt as not even a missed call from them has ever registered on my phone.

                    In response I've asked them to simply email me with their update, only to be met with utter silence from them. If they had no update, why were they allegedly trying to call me?

                    Their behaviour has become very worrying and I'm panicking that my money has disappeared with no ticket in sight.

                    If an MMT rep is reading this, please kindly get in touch with me. This is a sizeable sum and a full week later there has been no progress on the refund situation--a refund that is rightfully mine as the attempted booking failed at your end.

                        I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the refund for my booking, which has not been processed despite several follow-ups via phone calls.

                        Date of Place Travelling: 17 April 2024 (From Jaipur to Sharjah)
                        Amount: AED 840.00

                        I had made a booking through MakeMyTrip for a flight from Dubai to Jaipur (dated: 6-April-2024) and Jaipur to Sharjah (dated: 17-April-2024), out of which Jaipur to Sharjah (dated: 17-April-2024) flight was subsequently cancelled by airline.

                        Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue by calling your customer service line, I have yet to receive any confirmation or timeline for the refund process. Each time I call, I am assured that the matter will be escalated, but unfortunately, there has been no progress.
                        Given the delay and inconvenience caused, I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter. I expect transparency and promptness in resolving this issue.

                          After Boarding Bus Breakdown after 250 km approx. at night 2 am, any how we moved 100 or 200 meter again Major Breakdown happened this time. the time was around 6 or 8 am.                             I have used 3 make my trip gift vouchers to book flight ticket on ai631 from mumbai to ahmedabad on 05.08.2024 and made balance payment of rs.2847/- however, i got a message which is reproduced for reference “flight booking has failed due to temporary technical error. However, we have received the payment and initiated full refund”.

                            Now i am unable to use the 3 vouchers of rs.2000/- each again to book my travel ticket on the same flight. The screen indicates "avaiable gift card balance is zero"

                            Please arrange to recredit my 3 gift vouchers amount immediately so that i can book my tickets accordingly.

                            Please arrange to resolve my query at the earliest.

                              We had booked leh Ladakh trip for 4 persons by ID No.NL[protected] .Due to health issues 2 people had to cancel. Even after requesting multiple times Make My Trip didn't not accept to cancel or postpone the remaining 2 persons trip. With lot of reluctance we went ahead for the trip, but we had many issues like..
                              1.The hotel at leh was supposed to be Hotel Himalaya, but on reaching we were allotted Hotel Antelope, which didn't even provide the basic 2 bottles of drinking water.
                              2.We had arranged Innova Car for the whole trip, but the first two days they gave us a Xylo car. After many requests they gave us an Innova for Nubra Valley trip but the condition of the car was such that the back seat didn't have any seat belt. Travelling in hilly terrain without seat belt is very risky. We were expecting a pleasurable experience, but had to sit in fear.
                              3.Due to my health condition we decided to cancel the Pangong trip extended our stay at Nubra valley., for which i was charged extra which i was willing to pay and paid also. But the least expected from make my trip was that they refund at least half of the hotel accommodation of Pangong to me.i was disappointed again.
                              4.Even after asking for the contact numbers of main person in charge i did not get any numbers. Communication was a big issue. I am a senior citizen and i wanted to enjoy this trip, but very sorry to say that even after spending 145152/-there was no peace of mind.

                                Makemytrip I am writing because of a problem with a recent ticket booking. I booked a ticket for 7th August, but it was issued for 4th August at 4:30 PM instead. This mistake has caused a lot of trouble.

                                When I asked for a refund, makemytrip refused. I paid ₹900 for this ticket, and I believe this is unfair.

                                I am asking MakeMyTrip to please look into this and refund my money as soon as possible.

                                  It was a short trip to hotel Srinika Inn, Gachibowli, Hyderabad with my son. I must say that the stay was very disappointing, very pathetic, we stayed in room no 108.
                                  The booking was made via MakeMyTrip.com. The website displayed false and misguiding information about breakfast at the hotel. The website said that Complementary breakfast was available. Whereas the hotel management said that they did not have kitchen at all.
                                  Secondly, room condition was pathetic, pathetic service, unhygienic beddings and other bathroom items. Bottled drinking water was not provided.

                                  The room was totally outdated, very badly maintained. The room welcomed us with a bad smell. It was raining that day. Seepage near the AC, and on the wall can be clearly seen. Due to water leakage, there was water logging in the room, couldn't even walk in the room due to water logging. See the photos attached.
                                  The mentioned that breakfast is complementary. However, the hotel person said there is no kitchen at all in the hotel. MakeMyTrip.com has clearly misguided me on the hotel facilities. They did not give us even a bottled drinking water. Thankfully, we had one water bottle given in the flight.
                                  There were not even basic amenities in the room / washroom...no clean buckets, mugs, no soap, no Towell for 2nd guest was given.
                                  While in the room, there was dust on the bed, all beddings were unclean, used ones. They were not washed and cleaned at all. The stains on the beddings are visible clearly. See photos.
                                  Overall, pathetic service, pathetic hotel, pathetic people.

                                    I had Rs.3500 in my MakeMyTrip "my cash" wallet. They allowed only Rs.1400 to be credited back into my account. Even after the cash got debited from the "my cash" wallet, it DID NOT get credited back into my account. When I try to get the remaining Rs.2100 into my account, something goes wrong everytime. They don't have any option to raise a ticket for this purpose and there is absolutely no option to make a complaint. This is an act of fraud.

                                      On 13 july 2024, I tried to book 2 tickets from amritsar to jalandhar for 19 july 2024 on Asr Ndls express. bill was 705 ruppees and I paid it through google pay. as soon as I paid from the app, the tab closed and i did not get any email for booking confirmation so I knew th booking was unsuccessful. then i booked the tickets again and pain the same amount again and this time the seats were booked. but i did not receive any refund for the previous failed transaction. i received an email from makemytrip stating that the refund has been initiated, and then another stating that refund is successful and the refund should show up in the bank till 2 days. I am filing this complaint on 15 july 2024, and there hasn't been any refund so far. they don't even have a customer care executive to talk to, and my cancelled booking doesn't show up anywhere on the website.
