I ordered 2 Makemytrip e-gift cards worth Rs. 5000 each on 27November 2020 (Order ID: [protected]).
The beneficiary could not redeem the vouchers due to an error message that reads “please enter a valid number”.
The beneficiary had sent a number of email communications regarding this matter. Your customer service agent extended the validity of the card till December 31 2021, but the beneficiary is still unable to redeem it (same error messages). Now, your customer care has stopped replying to emails and calls.
The gift card was supposed to be a pleasant experience for the person to whom I gifted, but it has served as a nightmare for the beneficiary and me.
Therefore, as a customer who bought the gift card from your platform, I would like to ask you to cancel the gift card and refund my money immediately without further delay. Alternatively, you could also refund the money to the beneficiary’s bank account or as redeemable points to beneficiary’s make-my-trip account, but no more gift cards please. Your gift card offers are not working and I have lost faith in that. I hope you understand.
