[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — Failed booking but money charged from credit card | |||
I tried an international hotel booking through the make my trip app on[protected]. Their app said transaction has been cancelled from bank side and didn't give any transaction number. The funny thing is there is no way of filing a complaint in the makemytrip site in such situations. The bank SMS said payment has been processed with (Ref is MAKEMYTR4771630 on 27-3-21 at 00:58:06). I emailed HDFC bank and I got the following details Transaction Date 27/03/2021 Settlement Date 28/03/2021 Merchant Name MAKEMYTRIP INDIA PVT LTNEW DELHI IND Transaction Amount 10, 705.00 Auth Code 091132 TID 21088007 I am posting this here in this site because there is no way I am able to communicate to makemytrip India on the app or the website regarding this. Chatting with their bot was a joke ( waste of my time). Please all be aware that there is no easy way of contacting make my trip when such a thing happens.
