MakeMyTrip India — inability to change or reschedule the travel date

I had booked a bus from vijayapura to banglore on 15th january, dating 16th... Since i will not be able to make that journey i tried to reschedule on the app, which was not possible and was asked to call the operator, who in turn did not allow it stating that it was the make my trip personal or the app which should provide the option and not the bus operator... Since i had to book a ticket on another date i did book a ticket for 18th january... So now the ticket i booked for date 16th will be going waste... It will not be possible to cancel since there will be no refund as i booked bus on 15th for 16th... Since it's your lacking that there was no provision made to reschedule after paying online, it's your responsibility to refund since i am not able to make that journey
