Let me share my experience with first time outstation cab booking with MMT, booking ID : NC[protected], Having 4night and 5 days booking (8th to 12th June 2022) from Mysore to Waynad trip. If you are looking for outstation cab booking with MMT, please go through the terrible experience till end below and then decide if you really want to book the outstation cab with MMT or not?
We (Family of 4 with 2 Kids) reached Mysore Railway station @ 9.30 AM morning. As per the MMT we should receive the Cab and driver details before start of our trip but they have not shared any details with us even till now. One cab driver called us and said that he is having the booking and take us on the trip. We are a little skeptical as no details shared with us. We tried to call MMT but no response. We sat on the car and he started the trip. As we started the trip driver said that he is having booking of 3night 4 days only while we booked for 4night 5 days. He stopped the car on the highway side where no public transportation was available. We again try to call MMT and luckily this time one lady pick the call. Shared our concern and she put on hold almost for one hour. No response and my family is sitting in the car. After 1.30 Hr I got a call that you can continue the trip but you can not have multi stop, driver will drop you one location only and drop you back to Mysore in this round trip. Is it a joke, we booked the trip, having hotel booking in different places. While I am paying all Road and toll tax, parking charges then which policy cover these restrictions. In this whole drama, we were getting late to reach our booked Hotel and MMT is putting full effors to Spoil our trip. We planned this trip after 2 years of Covid period and definitely not having other option left with us. Driver said that you cancel the MMT trip, will charge you 19k amount for this complete trip while we booked this trip with 14k and paid advance 3 K to MMT. As there was no public transport and we have no other option left to go with the driver demand, ask driver to continue the trip. This looks like a scam which is ran by MMT with Cab vendors to loot money from the customers. They blackmail the customers without showing knife and Gun where they need to follow their deamnds or spoil customers planned trip and hotel bookings.
Both MMT and cab vendor are involved in this scam. MMT should be #Spoilmytrip instead of #Makemytrip. MMT is making money as they will eat the complete advance paid to them and Cab vendor will charge high demanded rates. This cab costed me 22K instead of planned 14k as per initial booking plan. They are not providing any support to customers in this pathetic situation even making it worst. MMT is only interested in the advance amount and after that they have no stake in the booking and provide any support to the customer.
While I completed the trip and reached Mysore, Called MMT and told the full story. I clearly asked to the MMT customer representative that do not initiate the discussion with Cab driver until I leave Mysore and catch my HYD train. Look into the irresponsible behaviour here, just after one hour I received the call from MMT where I added the driver into conference, Driver started threateing us that he will come to Hotel and not allow us to catch tarin from Mysore to Hyderabad. MMT representative was mute and not stopped the drive in this nuisance. Everyone is involved and supporting each other to loot the customer money. We planned this trip for relaxation and peace but due to this whole episode it was full of stress, harassment and life threating experience.
