[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip India — not providing gst invoice against hotel booked through makemytrip: likelihood of embezzlement of gst

I had booked one deluxe hill view guest room in renaissance mumbai convention centre hotel, mumbai for two night stay i. E. From[protected]Sunday) [check-in] to[protected]Tuesday) [check-out] through makemytrip. Rs.24959/- (Entire booking amount) to makemytrip.

I have not been provided gst invoice by renaissance mumbai convention centre hotel, mumbai (Five star hotel) even though makemytrip's booking voucher mentioned that gst invoice will be provided by hotel. Hotel informed that gst invoice indicating break-up of payment of rs.24, 959/- will be provided by makemytrip as i have paid the amount to them. I have mentioned this issue of not providing gst invoice to me by hotel in my review also.

Charging gst from customers and not giving gst invoice to them is highly objectionable and there are chances that charged gst is not deposited with govt.

Maymytrip is yet to provide gst invoice containing break-up of charged amount of rs.24, 959/- into various heads i. E. Basic rate, sgst, cgst etc. To me despite repeated requests to them
