Gentlemen,

I am one of your existing customers, extensively using your site for booking needs. That on 31.08.2019 at 9.32pm i made a hotel booking (Intended to be for 01.09.2019 check-in and 03.09.2019 check-out) wide booking id. Nh[protected] and paid for it upfront 100% i. E. Rs.4337/- by my credit card. Nonetheless, on receipt of the booking voucher/message, i realised the booking effected was for 1.10.2019 check-in and 03.10.2019 check-out; consequently, within 8 minutes, i made a request to modify the booking for 1.09.2019 check-in and 03.09.2019 check-out accordingly, same was done vide your id. Nh[protected]. To my surprise, i was charged at the time of modification rs.3656/- stating that the rates for those days are cheaper.

To my utter shock, rs.4337/- charged for the booking of inadvertent date has not been refunded and i find no justification for you to retain that amount, for the reasons, (A) the hotel in question is not the one much sought after (B) modification is affected within 8 minutes from the original booking giving up the booking of rooms to be occupied a month later, therefore, it’s not a case where you/the hotel lost the opportunity to sell it to alternate customers (C) hotel specifically stated that the amount retained by you is not to their credit nor at their instance. To sum-up you have no entitlement to appropriate money which came to your account when there is no good reason/justification and you can't appropriate towards damages when you have suffered no loss or damage-even potential.

Under the circumstances, i urge you to credit rs.4337/- forthwith to the card on which the charges were made; lest, your illegal retention of money would amount to your activity of online fraud and cheating for which i shall take up the issue with appropriate judicial authority besides putting it on social media cautioning the gullible public that you are into fraud and fleecing.

    Ref: my emails dated 17.08.19 and 27.8.19 to [protected]@makemytrip.com and forwarded to [protected]@upsrtc.com
    Sir,
    I booked above bus ticket to travel from agra to delhi on 7.8.19 through make my trip site and paid rs.1181/- from my account through debit card. But on the day of travel (7.8.19) the bus was reported as cancelled by the staff in counter at isbt, agra. His cancellation certificate is embedded on the body of the ticket print-out. The scanned copy is enclosed for your information. Thereafter i complained in [protected]@makemytrip.com and forwarded the same to [protected]@upsrtc.com to get refund. The complain references are as above. Till date neither i have got refund nor any response. Hence, i brought it to your notice to redress my grievance and arrange to credit the amount in my undernoted account without further delay.

      Hello,
      I have to cancel my entire flight booking (Nn[protected] owing to a medical problem with my mother neeta singh, aged 77, who was supposed to travel with me.
      Today, the first time i called a make my trip agent, he said the refund amount will be rs 69, 000.
      The second time i called an mmt agent, i was told the refund will be rs 40, 000.
      Now, when i checked the cancellation page online, it said the refund is rs 24, 000.
      I strongly object to this arbitrariness. Please be fair and refund my full amount.

        We booked our return tickets with makemytrip from mum to chennai for 4 o[censored]s. 24hrs before the flight, i get an email saying the tickets have been cancelled by us when we never instructed the cancellation.

        I called up makemytrip but as per them someone from my end had asked to cancel. This was a total lie by them.

        I had to quickly rebook it directly with the airline for 77, 000 inr. We request you to help us pay us full refund + extras we paid on the new ticket.

          I have 2 vouchers of total rs 4000 which i used to book. However, before i could pay the remaining amount and book the ticket, my system stopped working and i couldn't book the tickets.
          Now after rebooting my system when i tried to book the flights using the vouchers, it says that the voucher is redeemed.

          I tried to contact the customer care, they asked me to talk to their chat bot and there is no option for gift card issues there.

          They have provided a customer care number for gift card issues[protected]. This number doesnot works.

            not providing gst invoice against hotel booked through makemytrip: likelihood of embezzlement of gst

            This booking was done while i was browsing to get the appropriate flight and i noticed as soon as i selected this flight it got booked on its owm without asking for otp on my saved card!!! Which is not acceptable as a customer it's like stealing someone's money just because the card was saved in the make my trip app!! Kindly take strict action as it is a cyber crime and refund my money!!! My money got wasted and my travel plans got skewd because of this malpractice!! When i called the customer support team they told me they will enquire the matter in 24 hours and revert to me but no one called ever!!! I was extremely dissapoimted later i again called customer care this time they could just kept telling my that they regret the inconveniences caused but can't do anything about it!!! I don't trust this app anymore i hope someone really do something about the frauds this company is doing.

              Dear team,

              This is bring you notice that i have faced the problem today which shows mmt totally inexperienced and unsatisfactory in term of guest relation. There was a cab booked last night for today morning @9:30 am. Driver called me around 9 am and told me that he might come half and hour late as he is in haridwar, which is common and i was fine with that, later again i called him at 10 but his response was quite suspicious he told me he was in rishikesh and told me that he will try to make me reach on time which annoyed me a lot. When i called to mmt customer care i did not get proper respond, as per ms. Priyanka she express apology and asked me to find other alternative which was quite hard for me. As per her she told me that she will return the money back later i spoke to floor in charge and i did not get proper response in 15 minute. So later i went through ola cab and i suffer a lot. And later driver called me at 11:43 am and i told him i already left for airport. Also no one called me after that also in entire journey that day after i informed to driver that i left from dehradun with other cab.

                  I had a booking of city motel Colombo, and I was aware that it is dormatory type and I really believed the photos displayed by make my trip . When I inquired about addition of 1 adult male to that the customer care executive Miss RENA confirmed with the hotel that they were completely booked and the hotel is ready to refund you the money completely . I told to provide confirmation for cancellation in sometime, After that day I called 7 times but they only litigated me from one associate to other denying the fact of cancellation . Being let down once I said ok for no cancelation, one of my brothers visited city motel before my arrival at Colombo and showed me that the place was worst as anything,
                  1) mosquito net is torn and stinky
                  2) washroom and shower area don't even have doors violating the privacy and curtains are placed
                  3) one cannot sleep as the partition is not complete there is gaps which creates a load noise .
                  4) no windows are thr and also no ac
                  5) suffocating environment
                  6) toilets are dirty .

                  To which I informed the executive about the same and he confirmed that we will solve your problem in 60 mins after u reach the hotel and your trip is make my trip assured complete refund is gauranty,

                  It is sad to say that it's over 30 hours right now after my arrival and not even one of my problem is solved I have been literally [censored]ing out money outside for stay because MAKE MY TRIP IS COMPLETELY CHEATING WITH PEOPLE.

                  Worst worst experience, right now even i[censored] call helpline / hotline they don't listen instead of solving problem they keep phones on hold and after that u recive a text that your issue is closed .

                  I have lost my 14 day trip money to make my trip .

                    Dear sir / madam, i went to canada in july 2017 and booked my ticket through make my trip. I was return ticket of 22 july from toronto to new delhi via london. While checking in at toronto air port they issued me boarding pass but did not allow me to board in plane and did not take my bags as my name on ticket was printed two times like (Baljit singh baljit singh)
                    According to them it was a mismatch.
                    At toronto neither make my trips indian no. Nor canadian nos responded me as staff of air canada asked me if they can correct it. But efforts in vain.
                    I had to buy new ticket and flew from an other terminal.
                    In the mean time my family called from here mmt thhey guided us to send them invoice of new ticket so that they can refund new ticket amount.
                    I sent them same as make my trip demanded. I reminded them so many times and even through emails, calls but neither they responded nor refunded my amount, however, they committed me many times but did nothing in the end.
                    Kindly do the necessary action.

                      Please note we have booked durgamba bus from bangalore to bhadragiri on 31/08/2019 are pnr: 3037786, seat no: 27, 28, service no. 33d (Bng-mng-udp-kpr), bus no: ka-51 b 3343, but due to engine failure bus stopped in middle of sakleshpur ghat at alibillu.. Later on we were not given backup bus and also had to travel in ksrtc bus incurring our own cost. So please refund of rs 500for cost incurred from alibillu to our destination brahmavar, refund cost for inconvenience caused due to bus engine failure. Please consider this on urgent or else we shall file complaint to durgamba motors and also for your app. So do the needful at the earliest.

                          I booked a room at chunda palace udaipur through mmt for 25th august 2019. Offer was showing 9457/-. I confirmed and nodded for 7000/- to be devoted from my wallet. Next screen was for balance payment of rs4716/- which should be rs 2457/- it was midnight of 23 rd august 2019 and i had no option but to click for same and ask for excess rs.2259/- as my 7000/- were on stake. I done so and while i asked excess rs 2259/- to be reversed and credited in my account ; management is denying citing the reasons that 9457/- offer may have got changed. This is fraud and i will report it to mr. Deep karla, consumer forum, rbi all other relevant agencies and media if not explained why delay to pay in excess money charged. Pl respond asap

                            Hi,

                            I have been using mmt for a long time and recently i was offered mmt travel finance powered by capitalfloat and i was happy for this gesture and loyalty offer. I was able to use the service and found very helpful and also making the payments on time. Since 25 days makemytrip shows my current balance but and available limit but as soon as i go to checkout it doesn't show as an option to pay with. Capitalfloat states that they have no idea and makemytrip surrenders and always ask to contact capitalfloat. Very unprofessional

                              Similar problem as the below i am unable to use mmt finance while making booking, the operation is not visible.

                              I tried calling mmt and capital flot no solution

                              There is always this issue with mmt payment option.

                              Capital flot says that from their side everything is ok, mmt has to approve.

                              All the kyc documents verification done, i have used initially it was easy to use. But later its stooped displaying the options.

                                Make my trip has given me a mmt travel finance of 200000 inr through capital float. The same has been appearing in my credit account but today when i tried to book this option is not available in checkout page. I again checked my credit report and capital float is still available there. What kind of fraud mmt is running?

                                When i contacted the support via chat they are asking me the booking id. If i am unable to use the finance its clear that i didnt booked anything. Tbh i dont know what type of support staff is this. When i asked them if they cannot activate it then cancel it so that it wont appear in my credit check. They are also not doing that.

                                So i am writing an official complaint here.

                                  I had booked booked through make my trip. My account name is vidhya rajamohan. We booked two beds in manyana hostel, indiaranagar, bangalore for 30 august 2019 to 1 september 2019. We paid through netbanking. The amount has been debited but no booking is shown. The helpline has no provision to talk about this issue and the chat is also not responding.

                                  Your company doesn’t know the value of time their customer is waiting at the airport and not picking up the call and giving tentative time of the taxi arrival and at a last moment they are saying that taxi is not available.If your not able to handle your business kindly shut it up because others service providers are much better than you.

                                    I had booked round trip flight ticket from bagdogra to delhi and i had to cancel the ticket due to some problem and after cancellation it is showing no refund
                                    How is that possible i had paid 26000.i know some money gets deducted during cancellation but this is not fair you cant cancel the whole amount and it is not a small amount
                                    I use to book everything from mmt whenever i use to travel because i liked make my trip and i could trust this app

                                      I had booked a sydney to bangalore from jet airways (Qantas operated by jet from sydney to singapore, sinagpore to bangalore by jet) for 28 apr recived a call saying singapore to bangalore flight is cancelled and offered a diff flight and again after fee days recieved a msg saying full ticket is cancelled and no alternate flight was offered, was asked to contact airline directly which was no use as call was not getting connected, called make my trip asked for refund they said within 45 days i will get the refund, numerous calls and emails exchanges still awaiting for refund, makemy trip cust care is really useless and are very rude, its been 4 months still awaiting for refund.

                                      We acknowledge your concern and truly understand the inconvenience cause to you on the matter.
                                      Would like to update you that we are continuously following up with Jet Airways / concerned authorities for refund against your booking and the moment we receive the amount or any update on the matter, we shall keep you informed.
                                      For reference, we have attached the refund application copies which is the proof that refund is pending for approval.
                                      We would also like to assure you that MakeMyTrip is not withholding your money and never will. Kindly do note that the issue of refund being awaited from Jet Airways for customers who had future dated bookings with them at the time of discontinuation of operations, is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from, including airline's website. We thank you for being supportive with us.
                                      For your kind reference, we are sharing below a view of the developments so far -
                                      It has been reported widely in the Press that Jet Airways has been placed into bankruptcy protection as of 20 June 2019; and an Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) has been appointed by India’s National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). MakeMyTrip has filed all details of customer claims due from Jet Airways with NCLT as per the prescribed process. As a result any refunds (full or partial) will now get processed as per the directions of the NCLT.
                                      As per the latest update from International Air Transport Association (IATA) which is a trade association representing world’s airlines, it continues to work with the airline to manage the claim process but expects a delay given the bankruptcy filing. Further updates will be provided when additional details become available.
                                      So far MakeMyTrip has filed claims of the customers due from Jet Airways with NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) as per the prescribed process. Refunds will now get processed as per the directions of the NCLT. We will notify you as soon as we hear on the refund status. We sincerely hope you understand and appreciate our limitations in this matter, being an online travel partner and solicit your continued co-operation and patience in this matter.
