MakeMyTrip India — Online date change not allowed

Have booked a round trip international flight ticket from New Delhi to Athens and back from 23july 2022 and return 1st Aug 2022. I need to prepone trip by a day and change to 31st July 2022. I used MAke my trip - MY BiZ account.

However, the ticket says date change allowed but the app i used says online date change not allowed. After calling customer care and speaking with Mr Shubham for 2 hours, he still says he doesn't know and says i can't change return sector unless ok start my journey.

My friend using personal account from MMT same app is able to do it.

I need to change this urgently before air fares rise any further. What is the point o[censored]sing Apps and business account if flexibility is not offered. Further, I am being pushed to cancel the whole ticket and pay more charges when I wish to only change a single date.
