I booked a cab service in Bangalore for 3 days with booking ID: NC[protected]. They outsourced it to some other company which further outsourced it to another company. When the cab arrived, I noticed the cab number and driver is different, I didn't feel safe so called the MMT customer support, the customer service rep assured me that it is okay to take the cab and since this is a mistake from their side they will refund INR 960 within 48 hours.
I didn't receive the refund post 48 hours, so I called them back and it seemed to me that they were a little hesitant and were not too sure of the commitment the other rep has given me neither they were sure that the cab and driver were different, which is a safety issue as I was with a driver and cab that is unregistered with MMT, and they have no idea of that. After some back and forth this customer rep committed that I will get my 960 refund in the next 48 hours, I requested an email from him, as I lost my trust on Makemytrip any which way. To my surprise, it has been 8 days and I am yet to receive my money from them and now there is no way to call them and getting no response to my emails as well.
Now coming back to the cab that they provided, there was some calculation error and I overpaid the cab company INR 3500, when asked for returning my money, the owner of the cab company returned only INR 3000, and immediately stopped answering my calls and messages. So this company is clearly a fraudulent one. So this trip overall costed me quite a lot where I lost my complete trust with Makemytrip and surely money with them and the cab company.
MMT should absolutely take ownership of this, refund my money, stop putting their clients' lives at risk by compromising safety, stop making false promises and refund the money from the cab company as well. They should be fully liable to resolve my complete issue.
