[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — Refund not given as promised and responses are baseless (refund discrepancy)

I have canceled a ticket for booking id nf[protected] and i was supposed to receive 4850/- but initially they displayed 100/-. When i have complained then they refunded 2425/- and claiming that i have not paid that much as it is showing in the system. They simply making it 50% lesser than their system. Make my trips customer services are pathetic and they are treating customers rudely. Also they are asking me to share my credit card statement for payment but i don't want to share due to many of the transaction details mentioned. I said i will share the screenshot but they don't want. Also, i have received message confirmation after cancellation and same amount is mentioned there. Its 100% fraud. I have attached message in this complain. I have called more than 10times but everytime they are giving the same explanation and i feel helpless in this situation. Should i leave my money? There is no control on these sites? Why they have refund this amount also then take that too.

We are sorry to read about the issue, In reference to your complaint regarding cancellation and refund, please check the break up for the cancellation penalty and refund amount:

The total Booking Amount is Inr 5150/-
Cancellation charges for Go-Air is Inr 2225/-
Cancellation charges for MMT is Inr 300/-

Total Refund Applicable is Inr 2425/-

Also we apologise for the mail sent to you through automation regarding the cancellation mail, you have read the above words written in the mail. But if you check the little down it's clearly mentioned that:

It's clearly says that "The refund amount is indicative and the actual amount may vary.

Hence please note that it's an automated mail which was sent to you wrongly but after that you have received 2 mails stating the refund amount is INR 2425/- .
So the applicable refund is already processed in your account.

Kindly do let us know for any further clarification required for booking.
