I cancelled the above flight bookings on the 7th December 2021 (3 full days before the first flight from Toronto to LHR) by going on VIEW AND MANAGE BOOKING' on Make-my-Trip site, and clicking on CANCEL BOOKING'. I followed all relevant steps and instructions mentioned in the cancellation process on the Make-my-Trip site, during the cancellation.
Please note, I had not done the cancellation with the airline, British Airways. I cancelled my booking thru Make-My-Trip site only, as i booked my tickets thru Make-my-Trip. I asked for my refund on Rs 135260, less cancellation charge of Rs 61100 levied by British Airways and Rs 649 levied by Make-my-Trip, as was intimated also in the refund process on Make-my-Trip site.
On 27th Dec 21, i received a mail from Make-my-Trip that the AIRLINE has denied my refund request.
I demanded to speak on the phone to Mr Anil Bisht of Make-my-Trip with whom i was in contact thru mails ( i wrote at least 10 mails to him). I asked him to call me up on my mobile [protected], as it was impossible to get thru to make-my-trip on their toll free contact and other phone numbers. But Mr Anil Bisht, despite writing 3 mails to him asking him to urgently call me, has not contacted me.
It is one month now since i applied for refund from Make my Trip, but i have not got my refund, Make my Trip is silent and not informed me anything when i will receive my refund, and the amount of refund I am to receive after deduction of cancellation charges by British Airways and Make-my Trip. Mr Anil Bisht merely sends repeated mails saying the airline has denied my refund (Refer screenshot uploaded)
THRU THIS COMPLAINT I DEMAND FROM MAKE-MY-TRIP TO REVERT IMMEDIATELY AND LET ME KNOW WHEN I WILL GET MY REFUND OF RS 135260 – [RS 61100 (BA)+RS 649(MMT)] =RS 73, 511.
FAILING WHICH, I WILL PUT ALL THIS UP IN THE PRESS, AND ALSO TAKE MAKE-MY-TRIP TO COURT THRU THE CONSUMERS’ DISPUTE FORUM, WHICH PLEASE NOTE SERIOUSLY.
