Respected sir/ madam
I booked a bus ticket through make my trip under the account name [protected] on 6th august 2022 at 2:11 pm. The journey details for which I booked the ticket was from Pondicherry to Chennai KOYAMBEDU CMBT for 2 seater_sleeper seats, non AC under the make my trip booking ID NU[protected], departure date 6/08/2022 and time of departure of the bus at 4:00 pm from Pondicherry Indira Gandhi statue with the operator PNR TS[protected]ODQV/43742 and operator name that I was notified was UNIVERSAL BUS. Please refer to the document no 1 that I have attached below for the booking details that I was notified through message for your reference.
The UPI TRANSACTION ID under which I booked the ticket is[protected].Please refer to document no 2 for the transaction details of the bus booking that I have attached for your kind reference.
The only contact no that I was notified along with the message that I received after my booking ( refer doc 1) as well as in my make my trip account ( refer document no 3) was [protected] I.e the operator contact number .
I tried calling multiple times, the operator number, which I was given to confirm about my journey but the number was an unavailable number. The contact number which I was notified was not genuine in the first place. Kindly refer the screenshot of my caller id (document no 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) to the operator no [protected] from 3:24 to 4:29pm. The boarding time of my bus was actually at 4:00pm but there was no prior response or a confirmation from the driver’s side or from the operator’s side regarding the journey before the boarding time .In case of any delay of the bus the minimum courtesy to inform the passenger priorly is utmost needed which they have failed .
Moreover, we received a notification at 3:36 pm in my make my trip account clearly saying that the bus trip was cancelled by the operator (document no 10), I decided to claim a refund of my booking amount in my make my trip account under the REQUEST NO[protected]. Please refer to the document no 10 which I have attached below, which was the message I received from make my trip at 3:36 pm, clearly stating that the bus trip was cancelled by the operator following which I have submitted a request for claiming refund of the amount under the request ID mentioned above. Upon further adding necessary proofs to my refund request on 7/08/2022 I received a notification from Team make my trip stating that my request has been successfully created under the REQUEST ID[protected]DOCUMENT NO 11)
Since even after trying multiple times, there wasn’t a prior response from the operator’s side before the boarding time that is at 4:00 pm i submitted the claim for refund and decided to take another bus due to medical emergency.
As a whole, the number which was given as contact number was not genuine, received notification that the bus trip was cancelled by the operator from make my trip, adding on to that there was no prior information regarding the trip from the operator’s side or from the driver’s side .So I request you to kindly look into the issue and refund my booking amount Rs.987 /- to the same booking source ( UPI GPAY NUMBER [protected], or to my account number [protected] under the account name PONTHAMIZHAN.N. Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.
