I booked a ticket (PNR: A4U9PW) for travel from Jeddah to Hyderabad on October 3, 2024, with payment successfully completed on September 22, 2024.
However, when I checked the booking status on September 28, 2024, via the MakeMyTrip portal, I encountered a pop-up indicating "Unsuccessful Flight Booking." Due to this, I rebooked the same flight, resulting in a new PNR: F9HN5H, for which I successfully completed web check-in on the same day.
Following this, I submitted a reimbursement request for the duplicate booking, with status ID[protected], through the MakeMyTrip portal on September 28, 2024. As of October 4, 2024, the refund status reflects a partial amount of ₹3, 788, along with RRN number[protected], instead of the full payment.
I would like to emphasize that the duplicate booking was a direct result of the misleading payment status shown on your portal. I kindly request that you process the reimbursement for the duplicate ticket at your earliest convenience and ensure the full payment is refunded.
Additionally, I have encountered issues with the payment status indicating "Unsuccessful, " even after completing the trip. This misleading information can lead to confusion, as it did in my case. I urge you to address this issue to prevent further inconvenience to customers, as it may result in significant business losses.
