The Concerned Authorities,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Hotel Dholia Residency, Jaipur, located at:
📍 01, Near Tejasvi Boys Hostel And PG, Tejasvi 1st, Dahmi Kalan, Rajasthan 303007
I had booked this property via MakeMyTrip for 3 nights (25th to 28th July 2025) for myself, my wife, and my daughter (for her admission at Manipal University). I paid ₹9764 in advance on 20th July 2025.
To my utter disappointment, the hotel was grossly misrepresented. Following are the key issues:
No parking and no reception staff available during arrival.
Room far smaller than advertised (actual approx. 150 sq. ft. vs. claimed 250 sq. ft.)
Only one bed was provided for 3 people, and the third person had to sleep on the floor.
No bedsheet, poor hygiene, and expired toiletries were provided (photos attached).
Staff gave us a paint bucket instead of a proper bathroom bucket.
No geyser / hot water, and upon request, staff misbehaved with my family.
No fire safety equipment or visible..."You haven't purchased the hotel by paying 9000."
Despite raising this issue with MakeMyTrip, the refund was refused by the hotel. This is not just unethical but dangerous and in violation of multiple public safety and consumer laws.
I request:
Immediate refund of ₹9764
Investigation into compliance certificates, especially:
Fire Safety NOC
Tourism Department Registration
Food & Drug safety approval (for toiletries)
Building Safety & Occupancy Certificate
Attached:
Photographs with GPS metadata (showing product expiry and conditions)
Booking details
I request urgent action and accountability to ensure safety, compliance, and justice for affected customers.
Note: I also have a video of the room conditions, but it could not be attached due to email size limitations. I can share it via WhatsApp, Google Drive, or any other medium if needed.
Looking forward to strict and immediate action against this violation of consumer rights and guest safety.
