I’m extremely disappointed with the handling of my recent refund request.
I had booked a GoFirst airline ticket from Bangkok to Mumbai for myself and my family via MakeMyTrip (Booking ID: NN28QTLKY3224H6A9729). Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled due to the airline’s bankruptcy. Following this, I promptly requested a refund through your platform. Although a support ticket was created, I have yet to receive a resolution.
Initially, I was advised by your team to follow up with the airline. When I did, GoFirst clearly stated that the refund should be processed by the travel agent, i. e., MakeMyTrip. Since then, the airline has become completely unreachable via email, phone, or their website.
Despite raising multiple tickets and escalation requests on your platform, the response remains the same each time: “We will refund once the airline processes it.” No timeline is provided, and each call yields the same generic reassurance without any concrete progress.
I am a retired individual, and this refund represents a substantial portion of my hard-earned money. The prolonged delay and lack of clarity have left me anxious about whether I will ever recover this amount. Was this information helpful? |
