Maruti Suzuki India — demanding more money even after the payment and delivery of vehicle which was gone under insurance claim.
On 5th aug 2017 my vehicle delivered to me which was undergone in insurance claim on 28th june 2017 in kataria maruti service center. During the repairs i wasn\'t even told about the repair estimate and told that everything will be covered under claim except for processing fees which will be around rs 2000. On the date of delivery i was given a bill of rs 5280 including the processing fees which i paid and vehicle was handovered to me. Now on 9 aug 2017 i received a call asking for more money and they said that there has been a misunderstanding in the insurance policy and i will have to pay more. Clearly there has been communication gap between the insurance company and the workshop due to which i wasn't told about the repairing cost and delivered the vehicle with the bill i was asked to pay for. If i was told about the estimates and cost which i could have changed the workshop or could have told them to repair parts instead of replacing the parts. And now after 4 days of delivering of my vehicle they are asking more money. Why should i be the victim for the miscommunication between hdfc ergo and the workshop (Kataria maruti)? I request you to please intervene for a fair decision. Was this information helpful?
