For international SIM service between year 2010 to 2012- I had
taken Matrix connection. Following are details about my association with
matrix.
Account Code : 305262.
Matrix No. : [protected].
Matrix piggy banked on ATT (local telecom operator in USA)to give me
telecom service in USA.
The bills I have show that heavy long distance charges on toll free
numbers has been levied on me. The false charges made the bill inflate
to 20656.11.
I asked ATT customer service to give me details about the toll free
calls. They gave me usage statistics.
ATT does not show that I have made long distance calls, why does Matrix
treat it like long distance. It has clearly not received same treatment
as local calls.
What is the significance of a toll free Number?. According to FCC
guidelines toll free numbers are supposed to be free and are paid by
company. Any non compliant company (in this case- Matrix) that violates
the guidelines can be disputed.
On 27th Dec 2012, an open case disputing the bill was raised at Federal
Communications Commission forum. Please let me know about what documents
you need. I have copies of logs/communication logs with Matrix
It was not easy to make Matrix realize that they were violating FCC
rules.
I first told support in Nov 2012 that they were aberrant in charging for
toll free, they did not agree, approached Vikram, then Wasim, then
Suganya, Then swati, chandan,
Cancellation pleas were not accepted easily, In between Matrix forgot
that I had applied for cancellation, had to remind them again. (I have
all the mails).
After all that Matix kept accumulating late changes.
The false charge of inflated 20, 000+ plus got manipulated by Matrix to
80, 000+ due to late changes. From the very start of it 20, 000+ is wrong.
After that Matrix refusal to believe that they were violating norms.
