[Resolved] Matrix Cellular — overcharging & no clarity in bills
I had taken a sim card at the airport on 5 th sept 2013 for travel to usa
I was told about the cost per minute to india.
Once reaching usa, i was getting regular updates o[censored]sage & cost of calls immediately after making a call.
We then went on a crusie in 21 st sept along bahamas which is out o[censored]sa
While on cruise my companaions uses the mobile.
We didn’t get any usage costings while the we were 7 days on cruise
We must have made few calls.
We were back in mumbai in end of sept 2013
On 9 th october, my credit card company send a msg that my card doesn’t have limit to withdraw 45, 000 & matrix had tried to debit that from my account
I called up matrix, that they haven’t sent me a bill & i had already paid rs 20 k for 24 day travel & my matrix sim card was taken only for month of september. Why i did u try to debut so much amount whiteout informing? Then the company sent me a bill of rs 10 k
& till 9 th october no sms of any matrix usage etc was sent of balance etc
Which i said i have already paid that much.
Then they sent me a new bill of 97000 rs. I was shocked.
They sent me a bill which seemed unreal.
They charged me rs 25000 approx for 7-8 min call.
Their explanation was charges on cruise are very high & upto discretion of cruise for which they didn’t sent any timely bill or warning.
Then they charged me monthly bill for nov of rs 2000
Again in mailed that my card was only for sept month.
Now they hv put a case in lok adalat of non payments of dues in 2014 & are now pressuring to pay ela wo will have to bear extra interest charges. Pls help & call on [protected]
