[Resolved] Max Life Insurance — fraud of inr 45, 000 from max life insurance | |||
My dad has a policy from max life insurance, whose premium was due in march 2018, and in the last week of feb 2018, my dad received a call from a person imposing that he was calling from max life insurance as their insurance agent representative and told that as the policy premium was due in march if we make a payment from any other bank account other than hdfc then we will be eligible for 10 % discount on premium which would be inr 5000 (My dad’s policy premium is inr 50, 000). The max agent name is vijay and mobile number is [protected], he has details of everything with him regarding policy of my dad. So we believed him as he told the policy number, due date etc. Therefore we did not doubt his intension. And on 3rd march we did imps of inr 45, 000 from my icici account to sbi account whose details were sent by that agent. The beneficiary account details are mentioned below: Sbi new delhi Beneficiary name max life[protected] A/c no [protected], Ifsc code – sbin0002084 We received confirmation via sms that our premium is paid for inr 50, 000 on 5th march 2018. However, as my dad’s hdfc account is also linked for auto ecs deduction for max policy premium. So on 20th march inr 50, 000 also deducted from my dad accounts for the premium. We informed max life about this incident on 21st march, and they revert with mail confirming that there is fraud and we have done the payment to third party for inr 45, 000. We are really shocked that how max life is sharing all details of policy owner with fraud people. I want full refund of inr 45, 000 from max life, as they are only responsible for this fraud.
