Dear Meesho Customer Support,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent order with Meesho (Order ID:[protected], which has not been delivered as expected, despite the status showing as "Delivered" on your application.
I ordered a combo of two trouser pants, and I have not received the product. Additionally, no OTP was shared with the delivery boy during the supposed delivery attempt. Despite this, your system has incorrectly marked the order as "Delivered." This is a clear violation of the basic principles of e-commerce and customer service, and I believe this constitutes fraudulent activity on your part.
I have attempted to contact your customer service team on multiple occasions without receiving any satisfactory resolution or response. This lack of resolution and the misleading delivery status is highly concerning.
I would like to remind you that under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (Section 2 (1) (r) and Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), it is unlawful for a company to falsely claim that a product has been delivered when it has not been, and failure to resolve this issue may be seen as a deliberate act of fraud or misrepresentation. These actions may also fall under the Consumer Fraud Code due to the deliberate misrepresentation of the product delivery status, which is a violation of consumer rights.
In light of the above, I demand immediate investigation into this matter, a full refund for the missing product, and prompt corrective action to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Please be advised that if this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to take further action, including but not limited to escalating the matter to consumer protection authorities and filing a legal complaint for fraud and breach of consumer trust under the relevant fraud provisions in the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and IPC.
