10th February 2023: I placed an order for 2 kitchen shelves - prepaid.
17th Feb 2023: They sent 1 shelf while the packaging and the bill mentioned a quantity of 2.
17th Feb 2023: I contacted their customer care and informed them. They asked me to place a return request.
20th Feb 2023: the delivery agent refused to accept the return as the product had missing quantity.
20th Feb 2023: customer care emailed me add my bank details so that they can initiate a refund. Also, asked me to cancel the return request. I did as they said and replied to their email.
21st Feb 2023: they asked me to wait for 4-5 business days and told me that I will receive the refund in my bank account.
1st March: I had not received any refund so I called them to get a status update. They told me that they had initiated the refund. When I said I have not received any refund, they first kept trying to convince me that they have refunded and I’m unable to see the same. When I refused to
Listen to their baseless explanation, they asked me to provide me bank status from 20th Feb to 1st March to verify the same. They opened a ticket for addressing this.
7th March: still didnot receive the refund. Again called back. Gave me the same explanation. Raised another complaint and asked me to wait for another 4-5 business days.
14th March: still have not received the refund. Called their customer care, the uneducated stupid executive narrated the whole set of events from 20th Feb and concluded that they did refund but I won’t be able to see the same in the bank statement as it’s a ‘manual refund’. The bank account I added is my salary account and I work for the same bank. There has not been any refund from them. When I told her that I have checked from my end but the refund is but there + If she is unable to resolve an issue, I should be talking to her supervisor; she put me on hold and never called back. It’s been 3 hours already.
