Mega Cabs — Cab availability intimation at the last minute | |||||
I had booked a Mega Cab on 23rd April'17 with Booking Reference No: KK[protected] for pick up on 24th April'17 at 05:30AM from Residence to Howrah Station. I received the confirmation SMS immediately on booking. But on the day of pick up i.e. 24th April'17, the cab did not turn up at 05:30AM. As I had a train to catch at 06:30AM, I booked an UBER and left for the station. I only received an SMS from Mega Cabs at 05:33AM that there are no cabs available for pick up. I again received a call from Mega Cab driver with Mobile No "[protected]" at 05:33AM asking me about the pick up location. I informed the driver that it was too late for the pick up and that I had already left for the station. I strongly feel that there is a serious lack of communication between the call centre and drivers of Mega Cab accounting for such confusion. Also the attitude of Mega Cabs is very unprofessional because of the information about cab unavailability being sent after the due pick up time. Such unprofessional behaviour only leads to mental harassment of the customers who has early morning flights/trains/buses to catch for official purpose.
