It is quite disturbing to bring to your kind notice that I rode vehicle no KA 04 AG 6185 on 18.11.2022 vide Booking no BN[protected]. For this trip, an invoice no BN[protected] was generated.
In this invoice, a toll tax of INR 105.00 is added fraudulently despite the fact that there was no toll tax paid by the aforesaid taxi driver during the route followed for my trip. Secondly, the driver refused to start his GPS device despite my frequent requests taking the pretext that the location was known to him. Thirdly, he had neither the facility to accept digital payment nor the exact change.
Fourthly, I was lured by your people outside Bengaluru airport that a charge of INR 1300/- or less would be required. Whereas, the actual bill was INR 1448.38 and I had to pay the driver INR 20/- more as he took the excuse of not having change.
While all the above 4 points need your immediate attention, the first point is a very serious fraud and needs immediate correction in my case by ensuring a prompt refund of the wrongly charged Toll Tax of INR 105.00. This may be verified easily at your end using various devices and methods.
On the contrary, It was heartening to note that during my return trip from ITI Bhawan to Bengaluru Airport in the evening, I rode Uber and they charged INR 105.00 less than the estimate shown at the time of booking because the driver had not followed the route involving Toll Tax.
Please resolve my complaint by refunding the wrongly charged toll tax amount of INR 105.00 at the earliest and confirm the action taken against people and systems involved to avoid recurrence of such instances with other customers.
