[Resolved] Meru Cabs Bangalore — Hopeless service and mismanagement | |||
I booked merucab on 13th Feb for 5.30 PM in Bangalore. I did booking at 2.47PM, and I received message for confirmation. My booking number is 24657123. I didn’t receive any message regarding driver details before 20 mins prior to pick up time. At 5.30 one customer care person called me and informed that cab is not able to reach to my pick up place at 5.30 due to some reason. So they reschedule pick up time to 6.00 PM. I didn’t receive any details regarding driver till 6.00 PM. I called many times during 5.30 to 6.00 pm to meru number[protected] from my number, every time I got informed that cab is reaching to my place to pick me up. I waited till 6.15PM, then 6.15 I got sms regarding driver, saying that “Thank you for choosing Meru for 13 Feb 2014 at 18.40”, while I did booking for 5.30 PM. I called driver and then he told that he will reach to my place in half an hour, then instead of half an hour, after 45 minutes at 7.00 PM he reached to my place. Because of this delay of 1.5 hours, we had to go via Toll Road and that also 12 KMs longer than normal route. I called around 10 times regarding this extra money I had to spend due to Meru Cabs mistake, and I repeatedly was informed that they cant do anything for this. Then I asked customer care person to transfer call to higher management, then floor manager also told that they cant do anything for this. We had to reach to railway station at 8.30 that is around 30 kms far from pick up point, and our entire tour planning and train booking was on a toss because of this Chaos and panic due to Meru Cabs mismanagement. And moreover driver had to drive car at 110-120 km/hour speed to reach to our destination, and consistently meru cab device in car was giving warning that “Please slow down, you are crossing speed limits”. Our life was also on danger, I want reimbursement of money and reward of mental harassment caused by this behavior. Was this information helpful? | |||
