hi, I am sumedh ramteke from india, Maharashtra... as i wanted a galaxy note 2 i searched the internet for lowest available price.. then i came acress quikr.com and an add on the site looked very promising and displayed note 2 at the price of rs 18000!!!! i contacted on the given number and a man named BERNARD JOHNSON on the other end said that it was an introductory offer of their company RINGPLUS MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS AND ASKED FOR A BOOKING AMOUNT OF RS 5000...on payment he said that the phon ehas been shipped with INFINITY COURIER SERVICE and after 2 days the courier company asked for another 11000 rs for custom clearance to which the dealer asked me to pay and after the payment after a few days they asked for another 17650 rs to register the courier in my name and on my refusal that b**t*rd mr.johnson has quit taking my calls and now switched his phone off for nearly 12 days it has been a month and till now nor have i recieved any parcel nor my refund please suggest what i should do??? as proof i have all his sms and emails and all his calls recorded and original payment receipts.... My Friend sadly you are another victim on nigerian phone scam ring.To be honest there was no Mr.Jonson, neither any of those company exist and even the INFINITY COURIER SERVICE doesnot exist.Its just some scamsters sitting in Nigeria posting fake ads of sealed product with will warranty with jaw dropping price (more than 50% discount).To be honest no body not even the CEO of SAMSUNG or APPLE can provide you a new phone for less than half the price.Nothing can be done.Its an international cyber crime.So going to the local police station will not help.How ever you can try lodging an complaint at the Cyber crime department in your city.i doubt that will be of anyhelp as they dont give a damm to small cases like yours.So you will never get you money back.Remeber one thing.Never PAY the cash before getting the product.Always pick the product yourself, test it and then pay.If you are serching for new product thn opt for FLIPKART, EBAY, etc
