Dear Sir,

Sorry to write but i am extremely unhappy regarding working of Mumbai UNIVERSITY day to day work. I will explain you shortly as it is a very long tail

I passed my engineering exam in may 2009 but i had to appear for DEC 2009 exam because i was in revaluation process. Later i passed in revaluation process after almost 1 year.

After that i was waiting for almost 3 years for my degree certificate to come(Till today). in these 3 years i was constantly visiting UNIVERSITY CAMPUS. i think i went 1000's of time before i got my certificate today.

But to my surprise my degree certificate submitted to my father with spelling mistake in it .

This is very painful to get wrong degree certificate after waiting for almost 3 years.

They are asking for applying again which will take another year & I need it urgently for PASSPORT & JOB Purpose.

My request is to handle this issue on priority & hand over my Revised certificate ASAP.

Further UNIVERSITY Employees aren't Co-operative at all. Each & every time i have got vague answers from them.

So this case needs some exceptional attention from your side & i am requesting for the same.

Hope you will understand the SERIOUSNESS of this matter & help me in my BRIGHT Future,

Its been 45 days i dint get my photocopy down near m j phule bhavan its written i ill get my photocopy within 21 days.
Now its the double of that i dint get my photocopy yet whenever i go there to the university they just tell me they dint get the photocopy so how will they give me is this the way the institution works i got my exams by 15 of may 2012 and this my last semester if i don't get my photocopy i ill get a pass class only because of the delays which the university made.
My aggregate till now is 66% only because of your delays and carelessness i will get a pass class instead of a first class. i might lose my job.
This is not the way an institution has to work i[censored]ll have done some commitments you all should fulfill it.

This is regarding the cancellation of admission to MCOM Part 1.

I received a call from IDOL, Mumbai University on January 22 stating that I am not eligible for admission to MCOM Part 1 since I have done my graduation in B.Sc Computer Science. I was asked to cancel my admission immediately.

I went to Room No 9, IDOL and completed the formalities for the cancellation. I was told that the refund for the fees would be processed within 2 weeks and I can come back and collect it then. It has been more than 2 months now and I haven't heard anything from the department.

Calls to Mr. Deshpande are going unanswered and I am only losing hope. I have already lost one year because this misleading act. Had the admission personnel informed me about the ineligibility at the time of admission, I would not be running behind the officials for my refund now.

It would be great if someone addresses my issue as soon as possible.

As per Mumbai university, for getting a verified stamp on a degree certificate takes a months time for processing with normal fee of Rs.500/-.
I have submitted my degree certificate paying normal and urgent fees charging me Rs.500/- + Rs.250/- = Rs.750/- in total.
I will be going abroad in 15 days from now.
Q1. After paying urgent fees also why are they giving 20 working days time to get a verification stamp?
Q2. I[censored]rgent means more than 20 days time then why are they charging urgent fees, it should be charged only normal fees?
Q3. Why can't we get our degree certificate verified within short time of 7 days?

I am an engineering student of a college affiliated to Mumbai University. I had got 6 KTs in the First Year due to which I had to take a drop. However, I asked for my papers to be re evaluated and took provisional admission. Since my result was not declared before the third semester exams ended, I could not appear for it. After the exams got over, the result was declared and I had cleared one paper and hence was eligible to appear for second year. I paid the fees in full and attended college and got all my things in order and started preparing for 11 papers of the second year as this was the only way I could save a year. However, Mumbai University recently provided me the college mark sheet after revaluation. I was shocked to find 'marks unchanged after re evaluation' written beside my name. Now, I am in a fix as to what should be done. I regularly turn up at Mumbai University, Kalina but I am always asked to come another day. I stay far and travelling so much is a great inconvenience. I have turned here as a last resort and I am thoroughly out of ideas as to what steps are to be taken. I hope and pray that the University clears this mess as soo as possible as I have 11 papers to study for as well as term work to complete.

I Rishi Sharma Has Given Ty B.com Board Exam In March 2011 in which I was failed in Computer System and Application.
For Which I hav filled a revaluation form and even I got the photocopy.
Till Today My results are not yet announced for revaluation and even no one is picking up the call at your kalina university.

I want The Result So Dat I Can Pursue My Mcom Admission.

I have applied for Revaluation of Two Papers on 25 April 2011
1- Digital Signals & Image Processing
2- Data warehousing Mining ..

Out of these two papers, result of only one paper i.e. DWM was declared on
22 July 2011 as passed with 42 makes on mu.ac.in site.
But I have not received the written document saying the same till now.
When I checked in my college(exam center), then college also did not have the same record.
So please tell me whether that written document is send to my exam center or else it is still with Mumbai University,Kalina.

Also whether the revaluations result of other paper i.e. DSIP is declared or is it in process?
If it is declared, then pls convey the result and date of declaration.

Mumbai University M-COM PART 1 results for examinations held in April-2011 has yet not been declared, The university has also not made any announcement regarding when the results are likely to declare, as 4 months are gone they already started selling MCOM PART 2 addmission form,
When we go to inquire about the result the staff talks very rudely they don't allow us to meet the exam controller or any other higher authority. Mumbai University has became one of the worst University in the World, The Government should take some action against the people who are responsible for the delay of result.

I went to my college (Mumbai college of Arts Commerce and Science)to fill a ATKT form for Sem 5 for Bsc IT.
on 2 sept 2011 there were no forms in the college and when the vice principle spoke to a guy called Chaudhary in the mumbai university he said that the forms and not sent to print yet and he said that it doesnt matter but still we will take fine of Rs 100 from students as a late submission fees..and when i objected he said that i[censored] want to save Rs 100, u can go to university to fill the form.
This is pathetic. and this is not accepted.
After all this, when I filled the form for Sem 6 on 26 th of Aug, 2011 I am informed on 2nd of sep that my form has been rejected and u will have to pay more Rs 100 for late form subbmission for sem 6.
the universities, especially mumbai university who is well known for its education, is collecting money from students who are not earning and these are looting us.
I had not appeared for exams which were in April 2011 beacuse of my health issues and when i went to college they said that u will not get a result since u didnt appear.
I mean, I filled the form and paid bloody Rs 800 for the ATKT exams and I cant geta a result saying I was absent.
Apart from that my college never gave me a reciept for all the forms that I have filled.
They always charge Rs 10 or Rs 50 as a processing fee and never add that to the reciept which they keep it with them.
I am so fed up and I am angry all the time whenever I think of these things..
There are so many students who wont even care to raise their voice or ask the college authorities any single question.

It Has been Around 4 months we have appeared our M.Com Exams(April'2011) but till date Results for the same has not yet declared.

Even the Professional Institute like CA and ICWA has announced there Reults of which Exams were held on May'11 and June'11.

Delay for the Declartaion of result has not been stated by University. Same Thing was Happened Last Year too.

One of the most Shocking Things is that Mumbai university has declared Time Table For second half exam to be conducted.

If results are not going to be declared then how the students who have failed would be able to sit for second half exams.

We are really facing tremendous problem as we are stucked due to not declaration of results.

i have appeared tybscit this year and was planning to take addmission in MBA but our results are declared so late and even i have one KT and m confident that i will clear my KT in reval but the problem is that the result of reval will b declared after the KT exams and its too late to take addmission for furthur studies so my one whole year is wasted just because of one subjects ont only i am suffering but there are many students like me who are suffering by this type o[censored]niversity behaviour i kindly request to please declare the result of reval as soon as possible so that our one year is not wasted please many students gets frustrate and commit suiside please take it seriously and declare the result fast

i'm the student of R.D.national collage in bandra i had appear T.Y.Bcom and i had pass and i got the ceritificate aslo but in the ceritificate i did not get photocopy on the ceritificate my seat no. is 16610 my other friend get their photo on it but i didn't get what should i do

Im a TYBMS student, who has appeared for the examinations held in April 2011. The results have not yet been declared. It has almost been 4 months & still no updates or notifications have been given by the university.
As per the law, the papers need to be declared within 45-60 days.
This attitude which the university carries is totally unprofessional.
They have taken the system for granted. If the management department of the university itself cannot adhere to the timelines then the head of the department has no right to be on that seat.
Many students are awaiting their results so that atleast they can apply for jobs. As ur'll are aware that in order to apply for jobs in good companies they except us to have the results in hand. Mumbai university in no way meets the needs required to be a good educational institution.
Teachers there are lazy, unprofessional, sloppy, cant meet the timelines and totally uncorporative.
In layman's terms, hypothically speaking they are a bunch of illiterate people with degrees. Just bcoz this is india people take things for granted. We are termed as a developing country, but i say we are still undeveloped. If a country or a state cannot handle its own educational system then i believe its far away from being called developing.
The youth are the future of the nation, but if the education provided to them are from inefficient people what can one expect. The university is supposed to set a good example and not a bad one. Mumbai university has bought upon itself a lot of shame.

Sir/mam plz plz plz give our results we are facing many problems because ur laid back attitude im a student who wants to apply for canadian student visa with dead line 15 aug and if results are out by 1 aug also the the hard copy will reach my college after 7 days then il have to send a scan copy to canada for making my conditional offer letter to convert into unconditional and that process will take 3 days so sir plzz plz plz for gods sake give us our results

We TYBMS students are going crazy because its now more then 3 months we have not received our TYBMS results. Mumbai university had announced the declaration date of the TYBMS results as 15 July 2011. it was published in the newspaper and the date was also announced on the internet after promising the student the results are not yet announced as today its 19th July there are lots of students who are about to do there post graduation and MBA the admission of the colleges which are providing with post graduation and MBA courses are getting full we are enable to take admission just because of delay in our TYBMS results. if i tell about my self i am planning to go to Canada this august i have done my admission in one of the university over there everything is done sir but the only major problem i am facing is i am not able to apply for visa as for applying they require my TYBMS result and the last day of visa application is 25 august 2011. so before the any how i want my TYBMS result. this is my problem sir but there are lakhs of BMS students are facing this problem. Mumbai university is irresponsible for this duty of theirs. the purpose of writing this mail to u is we students are helpless and we find u as the only door to knock for help. hope we receive some positive replies and action from your side. this is a request from all the TYBMS students that please help us out in getting our results as soon as possible.

The result of first year engineering is out, and they are the worst ever in the history of Mumbai University. This year, only 19 per cent students have passed in all subjects, as opposed to 50 per cent last year.Only the best and the brightest make the cut and grab the limited number of seats available at engineering colleges.Then does it stand to logic that 81% of first-year engineering students in colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai failed to clear their first semester exam this year. How come nobody is pointing a finger at the organization? Its the poor student who is bearing the brunt Students, who were under a lot of stress because of the delayed results, which were announced only mid-April.The fact that university gives a delayed result is not given any cognizance.Can they imagine the pressure the students are subjected to as they will not only have to give a re-test in the subjects they have failed in but also sit for their second semester exams at the same time. Re-evaluation takes time, and by the time they get our corrected scores, they would have already given their ATKT papers.
An engineering college principal speculated that the high failure rate could have been because of a glitch in the new system, which was introduced this year. He said: “The U n ive r s i t y had introduced a barcoding system, through which s t u d e n t s ’ marks are directly fed into the computer. Exam supervisors, paper evaluators, clerks and officials are new to the system. We cannot ignore the possibility of some students being marked absent as not everyone is well versed with the new technology. If that is the case, marks will be rectified through re-evaluation, but the process will take time.”
Is it really fair to inflict so much misery on our students for no fault of theirs? I as an individual refuse to accept that students can decide to perform badly en block.

I have completed my M.Com from KPB Hinduja College of Commerce & received convocation for the same.
On my convocation there was a mistake on my name spelled in regional language & submitted the same for rectification on 19/01/2011 vide reference no.M.COM[protected]. Every month I'm in touch with University officials but there is no suitable reply but every-time there is one solid reply "Sir, please check next month". Almost six months are passed by but there is no sign of receiving the convocation.

subject- Mumbai University Cancelling My Admission After completion of one year in B.M.S

Sir i am a student of Seth Hirachand Mutha College Kalyan (W) i and my family member shocked by the decision which is taken by Mumbai university i got 44.68% markes in H.S.C examination held on 2009-10 and i took the admission in mutha college i scored first class in first semester and second class in second semester however i completed the first year of B.M.S. my college informed me on 4/June/2011 at 10.30 am that your admission may be cancel by the university of Mumbai because the criteria is 45% for taking admission for B.M.S college not informed me when i am taking the admission in their college and they also said u r in open category we cant help it but sir i would like to inform u that my dad is in army and he is ex-serviceman and we also submitted the necessary documents which is necessary i am lossing my one year and family also tensed and they force me to stop the studies i dont have any option so i request u sir please look in to this please contact to our college or mail me i submit all the necessary documents once again in this mail anything i went wrong i am sorry for that sir because i am typing this mail in very unfavourable conditions.
