I, Mohamed Zia ur Rahman, resident of H.No 17-3-1/3, Suryarjung Dewdi, Yakhutpura, Hyderabad - 500023 has been following up with GHMC Electricians time and again for a very small task of installing a street light in my lane with a switch. That street light has to be operated by connecting open wires which poses a serious danger to the citizens including playful children.
At first, i have raised complaint number 2015-06-W166268 on Jun 1, 2015. This was assigned to Sri.Nageshwara Rao, AE, [protected] who then assigned it to K.Venkata Amaranath, Dy EE, [protected]. I had reminded them twice about this small work and they responded saying they will install the switch once new Electrical stock arrives (really?). To my surprise, Sri.Nageshwara Rao closed this ticket while still waiting for the new Electrical stock to arrive.
I then raised complaint number 2015-06-W171236 on Jun 22, 2015. This was assigned to Sri.Nageshwara Rao, AE, [protected] who then assigned it to K.Venkata Amaranath, Dy EE, [protected]. The story repeated. I reminded them on multiple occasions about this and the latest response from them was the same i.e. they are waiting for new Electrical stock to arrive (where can i bang my head?).
This ticket was closed on 25th Jun 2015, 27th Jun 2015, 30th Jun 2015 and i kept calling the GHMC call center and got them reopened everytime they were closed without rectification. I think i have spent more amount in calling them than the Amount required for purchasing a switch for the street light in my locality. These guys have their cell phones switched off during working hours. At times I succeed in getting hold of them when attempting to call after 7pm but their response is callous.
GHMC is so busy doing nothing and eating up the Tax payers hard earned money
Municipal Corporation of Greater Hyderabad customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
