Updated by Mchan UPDATE: Myntra Manager Sumaiyal ignored technical proof; Conversation recorded.
I am updating this complaint with precise facts regarding the conversation with Sumaiya| Myntra
Case Manager, Escalation Desk, on Jan 19th.
The Manager Ignored Direct Proof: During the call, I explicitly pointed out the Module mismatch (Module 5611 vs. 5729) and the fact that the Bluetooth fails to Casio App connect. These are physical proofs of a counterfeit. However, Sumaiyal completely ignored these technical facts, blindly repeating that their "Quality Check" was fine.
Evidence Recorded: I wish to state that this entire conversation has been recorded. Her refusal to investigate the specific technical discrepancies I raised—while I was holding the fake product in my hand—will serve as evidence of Myntra’s unprofessional and deceptive conduct.
Further Proof Found Post-Call: Following professional advice from Casio India, I have since identified additional evidence: the unit lacks a unique serial number on its back and is marked "Cased in Thailand" (a non-existent configuration for this model).
Conclusion: Myntra is not just selling fakes; their management is actively stonewalling customers who provide logical, technical proof.
I have already updated my case with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), including the fact that Myntra's Escalation Manager refused to validate the mismatched module numbers during our call.

Updated by Mchan Myntra Replied in this way and closed the case one way in INGRAM.
>>Company Remark : Issue: wrong product issue. Resolution: The claim is declined basis following reasons. - As per the packaging footage, the correct product was sent to you. - The product cleared all the mandatory quality checks before being packed and shipped. - The product was delivered to you in a sealed tamper-proof packet. - There is no other point in the journey before the packet reaches you where it can be repacked. - No tampering to the package was reported.
Remark Date[protected]:18:48
>>> Therefore I replied in below way.
To the INGRAM Officer, I am writing to formally reject the resolution provided by Myntra and request an immediate re-opening of this case.
Myntra’s response is factually flawed and ignores the physical evidence of fraud.
Refutation of Myntra's Claims: Irrelevant Footage: Myntra claims to have "packaging footage." I demand that Myntra provide high-definition photos or video stills showing the back case of the actual watch packed inside the box. A video of a sealed box does not prove the authenticity of the product inside.
QC Failure: Myntra claims the product cleared "quality checks." This is impossible because the watch I received has Module 5611, GM-2100 engraved on the back, while the GBM-2100 model must have Module 5729, GBM-2100-1ADR.
If their QC was valid, they would have caught this obvious physical mismatch.
Source Fraud: The issue is not "tampering" during transit, but "fraud at the source" by the seller (Adilaxmi). A counterfeit item was placed in a genuine box before shipping.
Physical Non-Functionality: The watch display is frozen at "88" and fails to connect to the Casio app.
My Demand: I request INGRAM to direct Myntra to provide the internal photos/videos of the watch body (not just the box) taken during their alleged QC. If they cannot show the serial number and module number (5729、GBM-2100) in their footage, their claim is void.
I am holding the physical evidence (the fake watch) and am ready to present it to any authority. I will not accept a closure based on Myntra’s standardized, evasive script.

Updated by Mchan I am filing this critical update regarding my complaint.
1. OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION OF FAKE PRODUCT: I have now received official confirmation via email and a stamped PDF from both the authorized Casio Service Center (physical inspection) and Casio India HQ stating that the product sold by Myntra is COUNTERFEIT.
Below is the official email received from Casio India HQ confirming the "FAKE" status:
[Start of Email from Casio India]
Dear [XXXX],
Greetings of the day!
Thank you for sending your e-mail to us. We apologize for the inconvenience.
With reference to repair slip number INP[protected], we want to inform you that your Casio product found FAKE during observation. We would request you to get in touch with the seller from where you have purchased the product to get in assistance on this for return.
Thank you for contacting
Regards,
Casio India Customer Support [End of Email]
2. ACTION TAKEN: I have already forwarded these irrefutable proofs (Service Center Report & Casio HQ Email) to Myntra's official Grievance Officer.
3. REPORT OF HARASSMENT: Despite my strict request for official written communication, Myntra's escalation team has engaged in severe mental harassment by bombarding me with over 10 phone calls in just 2 days and unjustly labeling my legitimate complaint as "Platform Abuse." This is happening despite my explicit and repeated instructions that I will only accept formal communication via email for record-keeping purposes.
I request INGRAM to direct Myntra to STOP these harassing calls immediately and process my refund based on the official "FAKE" verdict above.
