Subject: Complaint Against Myntra for Delivering a Fake Product and Failing to Provide a Refund.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Shruti Ghosal, would like to lodge a formal complaint against Myntra, an online shopping platform, regarding the receipt of a false or fake product instead of the genuine item I had ordered. It has to be delivered in 14th October, but before the expected timeline, it has been delivered which is in 22nd September.
After opening the package very after the payment i recognised that i've got a wrong product, so I immediately contacted Myntra Customer Care multiple times to request a proper resolution and a refund amounting to Rs. 1, 350. However, despite numerous follow-ups and reassurances, the company failed to take any concrete action. Each time, I was assured that “our Myntra team professionals are working on this issue and you will receive a proper resolution within 24 to 48 hours, ” but no such resolution was ever provided.
Over the course of approximately 20 to 22 days, their team raised several queries, but none of them led to any meaningful outcome. I have been repeatedly given false hopes and false commitments by their representatives.
Furthermore, I have reason to believe that my confidential information may have been compromised, which has caused me serious concern and mental distress.
Therefore, I kindly request the Consumer Complaint Forum to take immediate and necessary action against Myntra for:
Delivering a fake product instead of the ordered one.
Failing to process the refund of Rs. 1, 350 despite repeated assurances.
Negligence and poor customer support are causing mental harassment.
Potential data breach involving my confidential information.
I am attaching all the necessary proofs, documents, and screenshots related to my order, communication with Myntra customer care, and the product images to support my claim and to avoid any misunderstanding.
I humbly request that you look into this matter at the earliest and take appropriate legal or regulatory action against the company to ensure justice and prevent such misconduct in the future.
