National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — Debit of Rs. 265 at Chhajju Nagar Toll

I am surprised to see your massage informing me to have debited my Fastag by Rs. 265/- on 27 July 2022 at 05:58:43 PM at Chhajju Nagar Toll Plaza.

2. You may see from your various massages sent to me yesterday that my same Vehicle was debited at 5:21:43 PM at Karman Toll Plaza on Palwal Mathura Road side. How can same Vehicle travel from Kundli to Chhajju Nagar on Eastern Express Highway with 17 minutes, for which I have been charged Rs. 265/-???

3. Fact of the case is that while coming from Karman side I wanted to take left turn towards Maneshar side. But there was no proper visible signage at the turning point and there were many trucks standing blocking the turning point. Impression was generated after seeing the Kundli board at the next immigrate left turn that it would go towards Maneshar, as KMP also connects Kundli. Hence, I followed this turn. It resulted in wrong route and I reached Chhajju Nagar Toll Plaza. At its gate, I informed the official over there that I wanted to go to Maneshar side by taking U Turn, which was kept blocked by the Toll Plaza. He then advised me to go back reversing my car and ask the watchman to remove the blocking barricade kept at the Turning point. He guided the vehicles behind me to go back to give my car passage to turn back. I followed his advice and and could turn my Vehicle back towards Maneshar side. At the entry gate, I also informed the official sitting in a cabin over there that wrong route has caused me this entry. I also requested him not to debit my Fastag as I have not traveled on this side of KGP expressway.

4. But to my dismay I was charged Rs. 265/- for entire toll charges from Kundli to Chhajju Nagar on KGP. This is highly exploitative.

5. Hence, i request you to please get this debit cancelled and credit back Rs. 265/- on my Fastag card.
