National Highways Authority Of India [NHAI] — NH209 Incomplete project Bangalore to Dindigul via Kanakapura

As per the project details, the NH209 road from NICE junction to Kanakapura will be converted into a four-lane and the stretch from Kankapura to Tamil Nadu border (near Chamarajanagar) will be an improved two-lane road.

Kanakapura Road is a vital link to the city.

As it is an accident-prone zone, it requires immediate widening.

Lack of proper roads, rash driving, inadequate sign boards and a lack of proper illumination makes driving through this stretch a risky affair.

This project started in 2018 till now project has not yet completed and no progress in restart of this project. Here we request (NHAI) to take necessary action in completion of this project atleast now.
