[Resolved] Naukri.com — naukri.com - fraud calls | |||||
On 2nd of nov 2017, i got a call from naukri.com for offering a job for l&t/ wipro company from a person named "abhishek saxena" (Mobile no. [protected]). To generate my account, he asked to fill a form on stepfornaukri.co.in without any login id and password but dint done any payment from that site. 1) to confirm my application to l&t he asked me to pay "rs.2500" from mobikwik app account on this no. [protected] (Name: secure naukri). 2) to generate my refenence id, he asked me to pay rs.6800 from mobikwik app account on this no. [protected] (Name: secure naukri). 3) to generate my interview id, he asked me to pay rs.9800 from mobikwik app account on this no. [protected] (Name: secure naukri). Total amount paid is rs.19100. Now, abhishek saxena asked me to submit my documents and i'm really afraid to share it because of this fraud. So, i'm asking for refund of all my amount paid. I want my money back right now. We’ve received such complaints from other jobseekers as well in the past and on the basis of our findings we advise you to be wary of such emails and do not volunteer information on: • Credit card numbers or bank details over phone or email • Call back phone number • Monetary transactions, money-transfers, or payment for job applications, conducting interviews, or any other such employment/recruitment related benefits • Contact details for a guaranteed job or money to process visa for emigration We advise you to exercise extreme caution before acting on any such fraudulent emails/calls and always check with the actual recruiter before paying for interview, offer letter, etc. Naukri.com takes the best possible measures to protect the interest of our job seekers. Okay for a moment I agree that this call was not made from naukri.com, But can you answer my few questions, If that person is not from anyone working in naukri.com then:
1)How do he know my new mobile no which I have just got and not shared with anyone yet and which is registered only on naukri.com site?
2) How do he know my name?
3) How do he know what is my current position in my current company and what post I am looking for?
4) How do he know what salary package I am expecting?
5) How do he know what job location I am looking for?
All this information is available only on naukri.com while I was creating my profile.
If that person is not from naukri.com then how he know all my profile information?
and why only those people are getting such Fraud calls who are updating their profile on naukri.com for getting jobs why not those who are not doing any profile update on naukri?
This clearly means that this person is surely from naukri.com who is providing our profile information to someone who is making these fraud calls or probably the same person from naukri who is secretly doing this Fraud.
And you may aware about this that such same kind of Fraud calls are happening from past few years and knowing this yet no action is being taken in these issues.
I know I cannot expect getting my money back and also its not easy to find that group of people who are doing this but atleast you can try to find them so that this wont happen with any other job seeker who believes in naukri.com.
Request you to please look into this issue and please do something as soon as possible if you can.
