NIIT,... it is one of the biggest fake organizations in India to falsely advertise about "placement".
Barely saying, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PLACEMENT AT ALL, instead what they do is tying up with some companies and conduct some "job fairs" (((in several cities and towns across India for their namesake, also for the publicity of some local companies who participates in that)))which is nothing but a big joke.. It seems like they are making fun out of the thousands of the students who ever comes there. On the event day of the job fair there will be a queue of thousands of candidates and we can see that some volunteers of the NIIT (their staff) taking pictures and videos of all these candidates and of this big queue. Right after entering the venue you'll be asked to give the list of company names you are gonna attend the interview. I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT NO COMPANIES AMONG THAT COMES WITH A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE CANDIDATES IN, ESPECIALLY SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES. And one funny thing is that whenever they conduct job fair, 75% of the companies will be BPO or some domains not related to IT.

I done a course called DDNT, Diploma In Dot Net Technologies at NIIT. But the fact is that, in reality no "good" companies ask for any certification from a fresher... (I realized that only after attending several interviews in bangalore- only small firms say it'd be an advantage i[censored] have. Too small companies make it mandatory).
Well, the reason why I joined NIIT is only and only 'placement'. Right after completing my BTech degree, I joined that third rate institute for the course where I was provided nothing. The faculties were not bad... But I didnt get what I expected. I'm a 2012 batch passout and I'm still wandering for a job. Next month, the 2013 batch is gonna come out.

SOME ADVICES TO FRESHERS
1.) If you are looking for a placement never go to NIIT
Reasons: NIIT is a Pan India thing and tens of thousands of candidates join that. So placement for this much candidates from the management side is an impossible thing,
Secondly, if you insist to go for a course for placement, better you choose some small firms in big cities. For eg: In Bangalore, the management of those small firms might have contacts with HRs and they will "try" to make their students attend the interviews.
You can join NIIT for having the GOOD MATERIALS. Nothing more than that.

2.) I spent 30k in NIIT. If I would have paid half of that to some small IT firms, they would definitely put me on real time training and then on projects and I could have got "knowledge (what u don't get from NIIT classes) + experience + experience certificate"... AND WHEN YOU GO FOR SOME INTERVIEWS YOU CAN AT LEAST SAY I'M WORKING IN SO AND SO COMPANY AND THAT WILL ADD YOUR VALUE BEFORE OTHER FRESHERS...100%... You can find many small IT firms like that, in all cities in India.

So you can change your name from fresher to experienced one...!

At the outset, I wish to outline the sequence of events leading to my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the Course content, attitude of staff and particularly, the total lack of professionalism demonstrated during my short tenure as a student, at the Centre.



I am employee of the Canadian High Commission which very kindly sponsored me for the course. I chose NIIT after reviewing many options with other institutes and decided on NIIT, due to its reputation in the Market. Sadly my expectations have not been met!


Having already completed the Course at NIIT South Extension in July 2012 for a duration of 48 hours, in which I was not exposed to sufficient hands-on practice, I decided to re-enroll for the same course at NIIT Mayur Vihar. The purpose of re-enrollment was made very clear by me, at the time of admission. I reiterated the fact that I needed guidance with a Project related to my work with the High Commission. I was assured that I would be given individual attention for 2 hours each, at week-ends - on Saturday and Sunday, to be more precise
.

Firstly, at the time of enrolment itself, I was told that there were difficulties in swiping my Card, as a result of which I was requested to pay the fees either through Cheque or Cash. However, my Card did get swiped, since I received a message on my mobile phone, debiting the money from my Account. On having brought this to the attention of the Counter Staff, I was provided a manual receipt amounting to Rs. 6520, with the assurance that an electronic receipt would be provided later and sent to my e-mail id. It was only subsequent to many reminders, that I was provided with an electronic receipt in person, for an amount of Rs. 6461, although I was charged Rs. 6520 on my Credit Card. The Institute made no attempt to refund me the deficit.


Although I was intimated that a batch would resume within 3 days of my enrolment, and that the Faculty would call to provide me the timings, it was not until Saturday 27 October 2012, after repeated attempts on my part to telephone the Centre, that I was informed that the Faculty had been trying in vain to call and I should arrive at 5:30 PM, to commence the course.


On reaching the Center at the stipulated time, the Faculty was surprised to see me and mentioned that she was unaware that I was to arrive. Nonetheless, after a brief conversation with regard to my requirements, I was told to come the next weekend, on a Saturday.


On reiterating that I had enrolled for the Course on the Weekends comprising Saturday and Sunday, the Faculty informed me that she would be unable to come on Sundays but would consider accommodating me. However, she telephoned me to indicate that she would be unable to visit the Centre on Sundays.


I had to wait until the following weekend, wherein it was decided by the Faculty, that she would devote 4 hours at a stretch on Sunday to compensate for the loss of time in the previous weekend.


I wish to bring to your notice that at no point in time was I provided the promised 4 hours, with constant excuses of Servers not being available, electricity issues, and last but not the least that the PC which had PHP and SQL was being formatted and that rebuilding the PC would take time.


Subsequently, due to the difficulties being encountered, it was mutually agreed that I should devote 1 hour each day in the evenings, to ensure continuity. As a result, a time of 5:30 – 6:30 PM was agreed upon. Inspite of this re-adjustment, on many occasions, the Faculty would terminate the class earlier than the allotted one hour slot.


You will appreciate that a lot of time was being lost, as a result of which my Project for which I had enrolled in the first instance, was suffering and I was losing face with my Superiors at the High Commission. Moreover, I observed during the course of these interactions at the Centre, that the Faculty relied more on a “Google search” to obtain solutions and even these failed at most times. You will most certainly agree that I was not wrong in expecting much more from a Competent Faculty at your Centre!


Finally, upon completion of at least a dozen classes, only One HTML form with Output in PHP was completed, the designing of which had already been started by me before enrolling at the Mayur Vihar Centre. Sadly, again, there was not much guidance in this regard and it appeared that the Faculty lacked knowledge and professionalism.


Again, with regard to the “Time management” tool, inspite of all efforts being made to make it work in PHP and My SQL, I was told that every Application has limitations and it will not be possible to achieve the desired results. I was advised instead, that it would be much simpler to make it in ASP.net


With much reluctance on my part, we agreed to make an attempt with ASP but to my dismay, when I submitted the project at my workplace, it did not work due to incompatibility of versions of ASP. I was told by my Canadian Supervisor that it should have been done in PHP and My SQL, for which I had precisely enrolled on the Course in the first place.


This “Cat and Mouse” game continued on subsequent visits, with not much serious attention being paid to my concerns, on the part of the Faculty. Often, on showing up at the Centre at stipulated times, I was requested to return at alternative times and much to my exasperation, informed that the PC did not have PHP and My SQL, and that I should bring my own Netbook!!


On adhering to their request and showing up at the Centre with my Netbook, the Faculty informed me that she did not have the time “to keep re-installing the application again and again”!


With such treatment being meted out to me, after paying a substantial amount for the Course, I decided not to return for the remaining classes. However, just to cover their backs, the Centre kept messaging me about non-attendance - one such message was even received for not attending a class on January 26, Republic Day!


Upon receiving these SMSes, I decided to take one last chance of salvaging the problem but was disappointed with the attitude and the indifference that I was meted out by the Faculty. On explaining the situation and my point of view of not being satisfied with the course and deciding to file a Grievance, I was simply told that I could go ahead and it was not necessary that I would be heard, since the Faculty would also put her point of view across to the Management.


It was clearly evident that the Staff and Faculty have no regard for their reputation and that of your esteemed Institute.


In conclusion, I hope that you will take cognizance of the facts outlined above. I would like to have an opportunity of a meeting with Senior Management, in order to initiate procedures of a permissible refund for the money wasted and the humiliation encountered at the Centre, not to mention the loss of face with my Superiors at the High Commission. They along with me were expecting much from an Institute of high repute, like NIIT.

As I belong to NIIT as a Student as well as as a Group leader and then I came to know that it is just a Business to Cheat the Students on the name of Brand during my teaching career I came through that the Course ware are just the copy of the Books available online with just a good bindings served to the students and also it is one of the outdated and low scaled course which will made the student to just memories the words. When the student place its first step in the Real world then he got the worst face of the NIIT deeds.

There I completed my 3rd and 4th semester. I completed my GNIIT course in the year 2000 from Delhi – south Ex. branch. I have been working ever since I completed all my 4 semesters from NIIT. I have Joined for Software Testing course in NIIT,Velachery on June 3rd 2012. They said the course will be completed within 4 months. But the course is not completed upto date. They are extending for completing a single book(robot testing) for the past 2 months and there is no class for us for these past 2 months. I and my friend had called them and asked for classes they said us that they will arrange class for us but till today we didnt get any information about the class.

Here I am sharing my experience at NIIT, Trivandrum Centre II (Keshavadasapuram),Kerala.

I am student at NIIT (the above mentioned one), 13 sept 2008 batch and enrolled my name in the program “Diploma inJAVA Technologies ” for Rs 30,000+ and since then my suffering started.
After joining I found that there are no qualified teachers. The teachers had no knowledge. I remember when we use to ask questions to our trainers like Mrs.Saritha , Ms.Nima , their only answer is “AFTERWARDS”. But the teachers had quality in “BRAIN WASHING”. Their job is to force students to do some other courses for which they get a handsome “COMMISSION”. I was told to do the C++ course which will help me to get a very good knowledge in OOPs concepts. So, I enrolled for the same.
The only thing which they do in time is get the installment amount from students at the right time. i would like to mention certain issues at my NIIT

In this , I will like to give a detailed description of what is happening in NIIT Trivandrum II Centre.

• First of all the worst Machine Room I have ever seen in a Computer Training Institute( If possible i will attach some of the pictures)
• Secondly , the teaching faculty as in my case Mrs. Saritha (G.L Of this NIIT) who teaches us Diploma In Java for us is not satisfactory as she herself is unable to teach us according to the course curriculum, and leak out the NIIT question papers to make students get through the exams.
• Haven’t received our course materials even after payment of the full course fees and they have been teaching with some faculty material.
ps.:- got the books only after the regional head team of Kerala made the inspection.
• The Machine Room Register of this NIIT is fully fake as we have not been using the machine of NIIT and most of the time system won’t be working or there will be shortage of available systems. We were forcefully made to write into the Machine Room Register by Miss.Nima Gopinath (Faculty ).
ps:- they make students bring their laptops.
• They have collected money for Windows 8 class , but they haven’t even started any class yet and they don’t even have a system here with windows 8.
• Mrs.Saritha(G.L of the centre) & Miss. Nima Gopinath , were forcefully making the current students join for the windows 8 class , for which I told I can’t join as I am already using windows 8 .
• The faculty’s approach towards students are not welcoming, especially with Miss.Nima Gopinath when I was like I would complain to higher authorities they were like “We will make sure you don’t get through your exams” basically blackmailing students.
• There is no Generator back up for this institute & most of time center faces connectivity issues due to which exams have to be written in supplementary exams.
• The air conditioning system downstairs will be switched on only during the time of inspection and at the time of inspection students will be sent home early from schedule .
* Happened to talked to the HOC of my NIIT about all the above factors, she was immensely supporting the faculty and was blaming NIIT for all this as she says centre is run by NIIT and she cant take effective action.

* Happened to give complaints to Regional Head Office of Kerala circle (Bangalore) , waiting for their effective action to take place.

I got enrolled in PHP course in NIIT(Nirala Nagar Center-Lucknow) on 11th July, 2012 and submitted the course fee(Rs.5250/-). Niit staff told me that my batch will be started around 15th July 2012 but nothing happened like that. I kept on asking them about the starting dates of the course and they kept on telling me that the batch will be started next week. This whole procedure took around 3-4 months. During this period i got a job in Lucknow.Then I contacted Niit staff again and told them that due to my job timings I will not be able to attend the classes so please kindly initiate the process of my fee refund so they asked me to submit an application for fee refund. I have submitted the application on 31st December 2012 and the staff told me that they will forward the application and call me after a week and from that day they haven't given me a single satisfactory answer till today and now they are saying that the fee refund is not possible.I don't even know whether they have forwarded my application to the right place or not.Miss Neha Baboota is the one who spearheaded false promises and i doubt that has swallowed my money therefore she was trying to fool me from the past 6 months.I want my money back that NIIT(Nirala Nagar Center-Lucknow) has looted from me.What is target for cheating students and looting money from them?

i am the student of niit, and before 2 year ago at the time of my 1 semester, Niit (rajouri garden) told me i have the ccna voucher include in my course(hardware &networking), but now at the time of 3 semester of ccna they totally refuse for my ccna voucher, every person in niit decline include center head and i am upset now because without this i am not ccna certified student, every one want prof. but at the time of starting they only told me but not in written and now niit told me for buy this voucher(18000rs) so tell me sir how i prove. please help me sir

At the time of Admission at "NIIT Rajouri Garden Center-New Delhi" ( Now I am at Green Park center-New Delhi) they had told me that you have CCNA International Exam Voucher in your 3rd semester but now they are telling that you will not get any type of CCNA international exam voucher when I had talked to the center head of rajouri as well as green park center . I had mailed them so many times but there is no response their end. I had showed and mailed them the written proof what they had given at the time of admission but they are declining that. Don't take admission in niit stay away from niit otherwise you will cheated badly.....ask me or any niit student its serious

I am a student of NIIT Jamshedpur and my 6th semester exams ended in 2011 December. After that I received my mark sheets on April 2012 but I did not receive any kind of provisional certificates. I called the university and they asked me to check thoroughly with the Jamshedpur center if any how that have misplaced it. I did the same but finally I came to know that they have not sent few student' s provisional certificates that includes mine. After that I had been in constant communication with the university and all they could answer is "we'll send it by next week". On the month of December I finally heard the news that they have dispatched the certificates but later again came to know that the address they have posted was somewhere else. I gave them a call again and asked how careless they can be in return they apologized and told me that the certificates are sent to Kolkata regional office and from there they will be finally dispatched to Jamshedpur Center. Yet now I have not received the certificates and I need a very strict action to be taken against this whole damn issue. This is a complete harassment. My Registration no is: 092B8381. NIIT simply fools people around and these universities which are linked to these centers does not care about their students, instead they only need money.

I do not wish to continue My DMQL Course as i am currently studing in NIIT,Saharanpur enrolled in GNIIT But i dont find the teachers teach fine way .....they are not able to explain the concepts ..and does not have intact & deep knowledge. So i order to save my time and money i need to refund my another course DMSQL Amount ,but the centre staff said me that it cannot be downgraded .Please help me.

Sir/madam I am balmukand and I have taken admission in your DIFA program on 8/12/2012 in nit-5 faridabad branch(centre code 00A94) and make full payment for that ,but now i am facing problem regarding the batch commencement as, on the time of registration the councillor of the centre miss renu chowdhary commit me that they are able in giving me the evening batch but now she is refusing that they do not have the fresh batch for evening, while on the time of registration I Clearly mention that if you provide me evening batch then i will take the admission in the program otherwise not

I have joined and paid fees for Rs.3309 /-in NIIT for Advance excel but no class conducted for Two months and no proper time alloted. In one hour they just finish the course and said their is nothing to teach.Since I am working in the corporate office many reports to be generated by me .So due to this improper guidance and faulty iam suffering a lot . so kindly take action to refund my hard earned money.

Hello this is Mahantesh, I have done diploma in .net from NIIT Vijayanagar while joining course they told that they ll going to complete in 99 days but cit has been completed after 5 months and they told that they ll provide good placement also but it was also fake statement from NIIT side. whenever i call to placement officer just they are replying that will get back to u whenever any vacancies are there but no use of calling them. i paid fees of 38000 by trusting placement from NIIT and NIIT certification but i got only two interview calls and those companies asking me money for joining that company. So i request you guys don't go through NIIT courses better to join some other training institutes.. they are cheaters and fakers

i have given a fees sum of rs.29000/- fr studing the gniit course they have told me that i can get any of the batches that i want in gniit but now they are not giving me the refund as well and i dont want now to go again to that niit because i am in a state of finishing my bca and i have treated niit as a private tution but it is of no use write now so please get my 29000/- back to me

NIIT and IFBI are the biggest cheating centers.Recently I attended the ICICI recruitment process in madurai goripalayam center.They offered the fees Rs 82000 + Tax.Then mentioned 3 months course.Before that course,yesterday they conduct examination.Aptitude,verbal,non verbal and finally H.R round.So they charge Rs 500 which is non refundable.I got selected in written test.During H.R interview,I delivered my best.But today they said that,I was not delivered good speech.So it means,they try to get Rs 500 from every person whether he/she selected or not.Actually I think only certain candidates are required for further purpose.But they collect Rs 500 from every person involved in the interview process.So careful friends.Do go to any centers or consultancy..

I took admission in NIIT Thane for HSN course in 31 March, 2010, for which they told me the fees will be Rs. 68,386. And course duration will be 18 months only. But today I have become a defaulter status due to pending fees, even I have completed my all fees in July 2011. I have shown them all written proof of fees, but they are demanding me Rs. 5,600 extra, otherwise I can not attempt my last exam for that. And also the course is not completed yet. Plz help me soon.
